Boba_Fett1138 You can have good actors, a great crew working on the movie and more than enough money to do the things you want to but when you have a bad script it all ends and a movie just can not work out."Blood Crime" has a bad written script. Well, perhaps bad is not the most correct word to use since the story is more just an highly unlikely one. You just never get sucked into it because it all and the way the story progresses seem so highly unlikely. You can say that I even was a bit annoyed by the movie its story at times. It isn't credible and has some gaping plot-holes. Seriously, when your name is Preston A. Whitmore II you should be writing some better movies than this.Because the story isn't much good basically nothing really ever works out in the movie. Sure the movie has James Caan in it but this really doesn't make this movie any more good or interesting to watch. You movie you can really easily do without.4/10http://bobafett1138.blogspot.com/
markos-9 It was exactly what I expected. Nothing more nothing less. A decent script turned into a decent movie. That's ok with me. I've had fun watching it. The storyline is good, with no exaggerations, and the atmosphere is quite tense. So, I think it is a movie that may not be remembered, but on the other hand it's a movie that delivers what it promises.
George Parker "Blood Crime" tells of a detective (Schaech) and his wife (Lackey) whose vacation becomes a nightmare when she is raped and he becomes embroiled in the murder of the suspect and the subsequent investigation spearheaded by a tough rural Sheriff (Caan). "Blood Crime" has the look and feel of a low budget made-for-tv flick with fade-to-black every 15 minutes for commercial breaks and the usual hacked screenplay with flaws, plotholes, and foibles aplenty. With New Zeland standing in for Oregon and drama standing in for common sense, this mediocre flick would have us believe a coroner can not only tell us a gun was used to beat a man to death but he can identify the caliber of the weapon. Or, that a Sheriff can commit a double homicide in the name of justice with impunity...etc. A journeyman no-brainer B-flick with B-flick talent for the sofa spud. (C)
Memlets I enjoyed this TV movie, but something about it kept irritating the heck out of me. Not enough to make me quit watching, though. This is one of those movies made with American stars in New Zealand or Australia, but the action is supposed to be taking place somewhere in the United States. In this movie, it's the American Northwest. However, the rest of the cast are actors from New Zealand or Australia, so they have to fake an American accent. Some actors are better at this than others.Often the faked American accent fails when the actor is required to yell a line. Whatever, it's really, really distracting.Just a complaint, that's all. As I said, I enjoyed this movie nevertheless.
