hannahnewport This is your typical Rom-com, it has the innocent teenager seeking work and money and then comes the hunky boss. They are immediately attracted and flirty towards each other. She is a pro-skateboarder and has recently lost her mum in a car accident so he feels sorry for her, she teaches him how to snowboard and then they get caught by his self-centred mum the morning after. As usual there is an engagement, he is due to marry the girl of his mums dreams but he realises that Kim is the one. Kim wins the competition and as I predicted at the beginning he then turns up and they live 'happily ever after'. I realised when I turned it on that it would be your usual soppy Rom-com and to be truthful it was, but the Tom-boy/skater idea and the setting really did I for me, so in the end I was wanting to watch it again and again. This isn't for the non-romantic type so I wouldn't recommend it to everyone.

alexandratopcool Personally I've been waiting for a really long time to listen to a movie that has my passion in it(snowboarding). There are plenty of dancing, fighting, baseball, soccer, hockey movies but never snowboarding. This is a movie that shows the determination she had to start a whole new sport and perform in it, yes the character use to do skateboarding but snowboarding has different basics! I think this movie was impressive the character was able to learn snowboarding in 4 months and be really good at it which is really rare! Plus I listen to One Tree Hill (Sophia Bush)and Gossip Girl (Ed Westwick)regularly so the movie already seemed a lot more interesting. I would recommend this movie to all the winter fans because at one point in the movie we see fresh powder. Of course this movie is not made for people who do not know the sensation of snowboarding they don't know why she always goes back to the hill to practice. :P

cheeky-jackie Hi I won't go into detail about the film because it's not fair on others before I watched this film I was upset and mad at someone but when I was watching this film it took my mind of it and some parts made me laugh.I loved chalet girl it was amazing it was funny and romantic I Really hope they make a second one with the same cast otherwise it Won't be the same. And I would recommend this film to anyone. If I had to rank this film I would give it 99.9% because it basically had everything it had romance, comedy, friendships and all sorts. Some people may disagree and say the film is rubbish and stuff but you should take notice of them so what if they don't like the film other people might and instead of listing to other people you should watch it yourself.

nicole_ward Went to see this film with a friend as I love Ed Westwick. The film itself looked good however I did not expect it to be as good as it was. The storyline is very typical however the script has been written very well. It is so nice to have a new English film out once in a while instead of American. I do love American films but the humour is not as great as English. Chalet girl is a great film without being over the top. It is not cheesy and has great characters to follow. This film is great throughout and I recommend people go and watch it; even guys as it is not just a girl chick flick film. With the great actors and great script this film is overall fantastic and should be watched by all.
