whpratt1 Paid $3.00 for this film about a house that is haunted with Christina, (Allison Lange), her younger brother, Bobby, (Lorne Stewart) and the father. Christina hears all kinds of noise in the house and she feels like someone is watching her in the bathroom and all over the house. There are various girls who visit the house and they mysteriously disappear, one girl was trying to sell cookies for her church charity and she is strangled with cookies falling all over the place. Brad Rowe, (Howie Rhodes) played an outstanding role as a handyman who is trying to fix the house up while all these strange things are going on. Do not recommend seeing this film, but if you get it for $1.00, enjoy.
pain93 So I just watched this turkey. Wow. Okay, so the beginning five seconds start a bit creepy but then when the little girl scout gets attacked, its filmed and acted so badly its funny. Then the film just goes down hill. Bad acting and writing. I will say it did keep my attention to find out who the killer was, but in the end it was predictable. The final scene holds some suspense but mostly is handled very clumsy with characters making illogical choices. Such as the killer just standing in the attic playing with his fingers while Christina is telling her brother to hide in the basement. I don't know. Some parts where good and the ending is descent. I thought it was pretty cool how the mother possessed Howie to kill the family and she was doing it to some other guy at the end. Anyway, an odd mess, even though entertaining, its just Bad...4/10
thewag777 A pretty good B horror movie. It was suspenseful, the plot was a little above mediocrity, but not great. Not much for gore hounds I'm afraid, though there was some blood near the end. The acting was very good, but then, I usually watch stuff like Polonia Bros. and other Microbudget rubbish. What we have here is a pretty teenage girl played by Allison Lange, who has moved with her father and little brother into an old house. Some creepy things start to happening in this house and it slowly builds up to a climactic ending. Very much in the style of some of the 70s horror, such as 'Amittyville Horror.' This isn't as good as that, because the plot is very predictable after 30 years of such movies, but it is worth watching. The one thing that stands out is the father and his relationship with Christina. I haven't seen any mention of this in the reviews I have read, but the father seems to have an unnatural love for his daughter, and she seems to know it, but represses it. When she was washing the dishes at one point, he told her something like, 'you look good tonight Christina.' She clearly felt awkward and changed the subject. All in all, I give this slightly above average suspense horror a 6 out of 10. But Allison Lange should be commended for her acting and I would say deserves to be in some better pictures in the future.
f-society I don't write comments on most the movies since most of the comments from other users have justified the movie. But this one, most people just assumed that this is another "wannabe" horror flick (and at the time of this writing, users have given this movie average weight of around 3). In reality, it is far from it. I would say, it is above average. The movie is a little slow. All I can say without spoiling is that, the real twist is in the end. Trust me.There are no "big" actors in this movie and that doesn't make this movie a b-flick.8/10
