Synopsis

Young, rich, and randy Gloria (Dominique Swain) takes the family motorboat for some fun in the sun off the coast of Brazil. Along with her are her longtime boyfriend Danny (Scott Bairstow), his best friend Jeff (Henry Thomas), and the son of an important and infinitely influential client, Marcos (Sebastian DeVicente). It probably wasn't a good idea to take three gorgeous men the same age out on a boat with a bikini-clad beauty who lately has been questioning her relationship with her main squeeze, but it gets even worse than expected. There's tragedy, betrayal, and more tragedy as the faulty value systems of the wealthy brats spin out of control.

ofjeworstlust Having noticed the comments, I didn't expect a good movie. But it wasn't that bad either!Just skip it to 30 minutes, before that it's a waste of time. Personally I expected an ending like this, and strange enough, there wasn't an alternative ending on the DVD. Acting is average, but the scenery is just the boat, the boat and the boat.Thin story, but as a rental one to choose for starters. Definitely not one to have as 'grand finale'.
caspian1978 You spend millions of dollars, a cast takes weeks to rehearse there lines and get motivated, and crew members work around the clock to get the movie made. The end result, the only thing worth watching is Dominique Swain in a bikini! Shame shame shame to the people who wrote this piece of garbage and the production crew who put the words on the script on film. The only good thing that came from all the hard work was to watch the very beautiful Dominique Swain prance around in a bikini. What's that got to say about women's lib? A sad fact, but if I fan of Dominique Swain, you got to rent it at least once.
sknisley-1 This is not the worst film I have ever seen, but it isn't the best either. Truly the best aspect of the whole movie is the lovely Miss Swain strutting around the deck of a boat wearing an itsy-bitsy teenie-weenie pink bikini. Overall, it's a story of jealousy and paranoia taking control of a group of already out-of-control young adults.
info-590 I cannot understand all the negative comments posted here. Its not an excellent film but certainly gripping enough to make you want to see how it ends. Probably whats most challenging is sitting through the first half. I caught the film on satellite and lost its very beginning. The film had the right doses of suspense to make you wonder what's going to happen. Is it a shark in the sea or something else? Once you get through half of it its very gripping. I think the director managed to bring out the paranoia and madness which the youngsters would have instilled within themselves in a real life situation. Whether it is a feature film or MOW is somewhat questionable in my mind. I think its a damn good movie of the week (ie: for TV).
