aimanjamilah Firstly, let me just say that i love most animals. So I'm always in a good mood when watching animal movies, and this one too sends me rooting for Winter until the end. In this movie, we also see a slight development in Sawyer's character, which I feel is a good life lesson for me as well. The most heart-warming part of the movie for me actually came at the end when they showed the real footage of the dolphins and the visitors. Fun movie to watch 😁
pythamaxx this movie is great n not just for the kids as many reviewers suggest. movie is not just about the james bond stuff or the world war or even some hi tech crazy robots trying to save humanity or watever.. its good to see reality sometimes..real life is more basic about love, affectionate, survival of all animals and human beings.. its so sick sometimes dat ppl only love movies with hot ass girls, crazily agents (the whole sex appeal bullshit thing..), n crazy robots..common do these things hardly even impact our life to the truth n presence..?? animal love is a great achievement only possible through a lot of effort and understanding and sacrifices.. even for the good sake of ecological system.. i admire this movie for its excellency in performance and presentation, for its effort in reality of the animals n even in the shoot (coz its not at all an easy task to shoot animals in movies... much difficult and patience requiring than shooting actors).. all in all a great movie... a great lesson..
capone666 Dolphin Tale 2Now what's the point of recouping an injured dolphin if it's just going to end up in a can of tuna?Unfortunately, the aquatic rehab centre in this drama doesn't see it that way. When the USDA threatens to remove the tailless Winter from the Clearwater Aquarium if she isn't paired with another dolphin in 30-days, Sawyer (Nathan Gamble), Hazel (Cozi Zuehlsdorff) and Dr. Haskett (Harry Connick, Jr.) attempt to acclimate a new dolphin into Winter's tank. But when Winter's stump startles the newbie, the team must cast a prosthetic tail in order to retain her.Inspired by the clinic that treated the real Winter, this sequel is essentially a retelling of the first with tacked on secondary stories involving assorted injured animals. While Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman reprise their roles, the teens from the first are replaced with bad look-alikes.What's more, who knew dolphins were so shallow? 3xHCCH Dolphin Tale 2 continues where the first Dolphin Tale film (2011) left off. This one is still set in the Clearwater Aquarium, a center for sick and disabled marine life. The central character is still Winter, the titular dolphin of the first film with the robotic tail. Winter became stressed and out of sorts when his companion Panama dies of old age. Regulations dictate that a female dolphin should have a female companion. However, this companion could NOT have a clean bill of health in order to fit the criteria of dolphins allowed to stay in the center. If such a companion cannot be found, Winter will have to be transferred. With the dolphin story so threadbare, we have to watch the kids Sawyer and Hazel undergo their own little subplots to fill the time. Sawyer had to decide whether he would accept a scholarship to attend a marine academy at sea. Hazel had her petty jealousy of a trainee getting close with Sawyer and her bratty arguments with her father. I had the feeling that this was actually a needless sequel. The first film told a compelling story of how the center had rehabilitated a disabled dolphin, and told it well. But this one really had trouble prolonging the action to fit a respectable running time for a feature film. A lot of the content felt like filler.
