Reviews

djbethell-746-488986 Sadly the other reviews do this film little to no justice. It breaks the rules and it's anarchy is unexplainable - you won't get many answers here, so those expecting the expected fare won't cope well with this journey into utter insanity. Enjoy this for what it is - a break-neck horror-train to the bitter-end.
chaosbaron The movie starts out with your standard slow buildup of characters conversing to each other, filming for no reason, creepy things being found or heard. All the standard clichés. Why I felt the reason to review this film was because this movie really went above and beyond with the shaky camera, screaming into the mic, and pointless static and video glitching. I couldn't even tell what was happening at the end of the film, it looked like you gave a 5 year old a phone camera and had them run through a haunted house, then added all sorts of shitty interference filters in after effect. This is too bad, as it seemed there were some interesting creatures and a stranger plot to be explored.... at least I think there was, it was really hard to see what I was looking at.
mehmetski yes, many reviews here already stated: this movie takes a really surprising turn. i mean, before that it is still pretty creepy with those ominous things stalking them. who wouldn't be freaked out by that? well, the camera guy as it seems. half of the protagonists is, sadly, totally horrible people. they just pi*s each other off and you actually kinda hope something happens to them. the girls are more fun. but they scream and whine waaaay too much in my opinion, though that might be due to the localisation (i watched this in German). so overall the movie delivers a great chill, then an unexpected plot twist and while stuff happens you always think "how the hell might that situation turn out now?" and on a side note: why do people always need to refer to the blair witch project? this movie has nothing to do with it, it just happens to be the same genre. when i watch an action movie i don't always refer to james bond. there will always be similarities because of genre but thats it.
squall_morane Everything started normal. Friends go to somewhere to camping and then whole story has changed. I think they tried to mix Doom, Resident Evil and classic hand cam movies. But it was just a giant disappointment. Don't waste your time. Movie is too dark. Screaming and crying girls all the time and terrible hand camera angles. Zombies look more like patience from asylum. Creatures; some of looks like bear or giant wolf. But with this camera its impossible to understand. And people who came for help, who are they. They came suddenly and worked to try to save girls. Well at least its not satisfying movie for me. No horror. No thriller. And lots of predictable scenes.
