snivendkar11 Another great movie which fell to poor direction. Completely flawed with loopholes. Even if the movie is not based on a real story it still had a capability to attract a lot more attention than it already did. SRK did a good job, however there wasn't much he could help with the plots. Indian cinema needs to take an example of how a great story can lose to a bad script and loopholes. Had they used the help of a crew that adds more content to support the direction and explain to the audience with some concrete evidence as to why a plot is progressing in the way it is. Fan is a good example of how a movie can either be 1 or 10. Bollywood needs to understand that Indian Cinema is evolved and is smarter and you cannot present such a low standard story line. Great idea behind the movie but absolutely poor execution.

indianature The reviews for Fan were mixed but it was supposed to be a thriller and of course Shahrukh Khan is a great actor, so I watched this movie eventually.The plot is different and interesting. A crazy obsessive fan of SRK feels slighted one day and thereafter sets about making life impossible for him. Shahrukh Khan in the double role, has done a superb job. The sets of the seedy hotel, Mannat, Gaurav the fan's ordinary lower middle class locality etc. were realistic and well done.Where the film disappointed was in the excessively stretched out stunts. There must be a section of the audience for whom these are directed. The stunt sequences are undoubtedly slick but went on and on a bit too much. I felt the movie could have easily been cut short by a good thirty minutes. Since I was watching a DVD I had the luxury of the fast forward button. Oh, and after seeing Fan, there is no need to visit Dubrovnik which has been covered in every nook and corner in a stunt sequence :)Nonetheless, Fan is an eminently watchable movie, something different.

ronibravosinha so fan is one of the most anticipated movie of shah rukh khan of 2016.After dilwale,HNY and CE, SRK stepped out of his comfort zone and carved out his best-FAN.FAN is an irrational thriller ,diffrent from other typical Bollywood masala,having no lead actress,no songs no marketing because of which it fails to make an impact on box office despite having SRK on cards.Action,drama,emotion and fandom-this is your 150 minute of experience.Fan is an emotional roller-coaster which ends up with tears in eyes for Fan.Watch it if you like Hollywood type no song ,intense story great acting,srk deserves a filmfare for this.Film has some flaws but can be ignored as Srk overshadows all flaws with his acting skills,the vfx team did excellent job and the make-up man-Greg canom did excellent with his creativity of gaurav's physique and face

harishbhatia Shahrukh khan plays two characters in the movie (fan and star) .Performance of Shahrukh khan is brilliant.Some people didn't like the movie but they don't think about the story line and the emotions of the fan. The people didn't feel the movie.They only considered it as a simple and a boring drama movie.It also contains a tragic end that's why it is also not liked.The real fans of Shahrukh khan would love it.The only mistake was there was no fan anthem in the movie. At last THE MOVIE IS OUTSTANDING.
