The best dog movie ever!it's gave us a tears!,And it's about the love of a dog!And about a lovely family!,it's giving a advise,it's saying about the life!,and about the love.And i like this dog character 'Comet' playing as 'Fluke',Also i have a quection what is the "Rumbo's" real name ?Is it "barney"? I didn't found him on "google" or something,i wanna know about his informations!,Also i love those musics on this movie,they are very sad musics. Really this is the best movie i have seen ever,also i love it,And i heard 'comet'was dead, 'rest in peace! 'Comet','Fluke'.I love this movie because it's not about only a dog,it' s mean,It's not a normal Dog movie,it's have a special big thing than a dog movie, Really It's very nice!.Also it's showing a heart and a love of a father! In this movie, "A man was dead by a car crash,and he born as a Dog,and he was catched by animal controls,and he came from there and met a old women name'Bella',she pet him,and he helped her to earn money!,then she name him with a tag name 'Fluke',after a small time she was dead,and he met a nice dog name 'Rumbo' they was best friends!,rumbo diead by a gunshot,and he went to his family ,and tries to tell who was he,and he tought,there was his old friend 'jeff' murded him,And he tries to kill him when he drives the car,he bit him and he was crashed,'Fluke' also damaged and he remeberd really what happend,he saw all the things from his mind,every thing done by his fault 'Jeff' was a good friend.Then fluke helped him,And he went to his tomb to protect his Son 'Brian' 'Carol' his mom came there and got him back,and 'Brian' said ' he was dreaming,Fluke said him to don't cry he want to go away,'Ad 'Carol went to tomb to see Fluke and told him to come back with them,But he Didn't came back,'He cleaned his Tomb and shows who was he on another life, the carols knew he was 'Tom',and 'Fluke' went away.Jeff take care of the family.All in all he met 'rambo' back as a squirrel.That's all.It's the best movie ever!

BandicootBurn Fluke seems like a light-hearted family movie but it certainly is not, Fluke delves deep into some fairly deep life questions. The film opens with a neglectful Father and Husband named Thomas who is killed in a car accident and is re-incarnated as a Dog to put right all of the wrongs he has done in his life. Along the way he makes a new friend called "Rumbo" voiced by Samuel L. Jackson who was also re-incarnated as a Dog and he helps him uncover what really happened on the night of Tom's death, which also leads him to go on a search for the wife and son he left behind. At first we are led to believe that Thomas lived a good life and was kind to his friends and family. Fluke gradually regains full memory of his past life and the more he uncovers the more he realises that he wasn't the kind and caring man we thought he was. Ultimately he comes to the reasoning that it is best for him to leave his family behind forever as him trying to change things will only make it worse and he will just get in the way of their lives.In essence, the ideas and themes this film delves into are really thought provoking. The musical score really helps to get you emotionally involved in the film and the most provocative idea comes at the very end of the film. Fluke is definitely a hidden gem and a very impressive attempt at a deep emotional drama from Italian director Carlo Carlei.

garyeddie I am a male of 37yrs who first watched fluke a few years ago. Recently i purchased both the D.V.D,The Video and also the book. Every time i watch this film,i cry like a 5yr old kid!!!Its so bad that i have to watch it on my own, and its a running joke amongst my friends...as they know the state I'm in whilst watching it!! This film is at first just another shaggy-dog story, but if you read into its meaning, it really makes you wonder about living life to the full, appreciating what you have in life, and realising that there are no 2nd chances... The film begins after he dies in the crash, and from here on in...it just gets worse!! First, he has to say goodbye to his Doggy-mum,which cuts me up every time....then he sees his friend Bella,the tramp, die. But the WORST part is when his old friend dies by the lake,after being shot..God this film is a KILLER at times!!! At this point i sob like a baby!! Then when poor Fluke finally tracks down his old family,he comes to realise that they would be better off being left alone, and move on.... The scene by the Gravestone, when she realises just who Fluke is, as he scrapes away the snow to reveal his name, is one of the most moving pieces of film I've ever seen!! But at the VERY end, something nice happens...he meets his old friend again!!!! This film is just SOOOOOOO BRILLIANT!!!!Gary Edwards

Along the way, he meets Rumbo, a dog who has also been reincarnated. Fluke eventually finds his family, but as a dog, cannot tell them who he is. This is a tale about finding oneself and telling the ones you love how much you really care for them..before it's too late. A brilliant adaptation of a truly fantastic book. This can delight all ages, youngsters and adults alike, as it means different things to each person.
