TheLittleSongbird This is not the best Roadrunner vs. Coyote cartoon, but it is not the worst as there is fun to be had. The ending is not the best there is I admit, but there is enough to enjoy. Also while there are one or two predictable gags, there are some that do completely take you by surprise. The animation quality is colourful and crisp, the music doesn't fall into the danger of being repetitive and annoying, the pacing is fine and Coyote is once again devious and cunning.Overall, it isn't a masterpiece of a cartoon, but it works well enough and has enough interest to maintain possible re watches.8/10 Bethany Cox
slymusic "Going! Going! Gosh!" is another fine Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote cartoon. Lots of luck, Coyote! You're gonna need it.My favorite sequence in this cartoon occurs at the very end of a high mountain road, where the Coyote paints a picture on a huge canvas to make it appear as if the road still continues. But, as is always the case, the Road Runner runs right through the painting. Then a big truck emerges from the painting and runs over the frustrated Coyote, who then tries to run through the painting and falls off a cliff. The smoke trails from his fall form the words "OH, NO!" I also like how the Coyote disguises himself as a lady hitchhiking while the song "Carry Me Back to Old Virginy" plays in the background. Of course, the Road Runner merely runs him over and snatches his wig.Contemporary cartoonist Matt Groening ("The Simpsons", "Futurama") had the right idea about the background desert paintings in these Road Runner cartoons: They look so great that you'd want to be there!
Lee Eisenberg Yet another litany of Wile E. Coyote maiming himself while trying to trap Road Runner. One of the funniest gags involves Wile E. dressing up as a woman (sure enough, Road Runner is already ahead of him). Sometimes, I wonder why Wile E. doesn't just give, knowing what always happens to him, but I realize that if that happened, the cartoons couldn't exist. All in all, "Going! Going! Gosh!" is one of the many classic Looney Tunes cartoons showing why their cartoons from that era really set the standards. They'll always be marvellous, and you can watch them time and again and still laugh. Just great.
rbverhoef This Road Runner vs. Wile E. Coyote cartoon is another decent entry in the series. The Coyote, or the Carnivorous Vulgaris, chases the Road Runner, introduced as Accelarti Incredibius, again. This time he paints a road where the real road is ending. Of course the Road Runner is able to walk that fake road and after him a truck as well. Coyote also dresses up as a woman and tries to drop an anvil on the Road Runner, of course every attempt without any success.Another nice cartoon this is, although a Road Runner cartoon can never disappoint me. This is not the best from the series, especially the animation is not that great, but I had my smiles and some laughs.
