chloefairyemo I advise that you watch this movie. Why? Because it is somewhat educational for teens. I am a teen I'm just saying. But I'm never going to run away! This movie made me cry, laugh and scared of the fact that this could actually happen and this is real stuff. Overall, this is an amazing movie and you couldn't have picked a better Luli, Chloë just played Luli's rule so greatly. I would of given this a ten if it hadn't had so much swearing. I loved how nicks character came in from the beginning so she knew who he was and trusted him. Throughout this movie there were many predictable moments and I think nick was quite a predictable character. Without giving any spoilers away, to make you want to watch this movie, or maybe you already have seen it and your Here to write a review.whatever you are doing you should definitely watch this movie if your a high school teacher I think they should show this at high schools as I said this is very educational, and because many students don't know what's wrong like Luli here, this would really help to talk through this, and point out what she did wrong. I just loved this movie!
phd_travel Such a waste! There are some good actors in this tale of a 13 year old girl running away from home and meeting all sorts of scum of the earth. Chloe Grace Moretz delivers a master class of acting for young actors. No actress of her generation has such range. But the story is just so feel bad. Blake Lively tries to act the hooker thing. She isn't that convincing in the skank roles like 'The Town'. Eddie Redmayne is incomprehensible. Couldn't understand most of what he said. He's was totally miscast. What on earth was Alec doing in this movie? Is is a warning to teens not to run away from home? Maybe then there is some message. Overall don't bother even if you like the stars.
Angela Inapplicable This was an excellent film because, the characters were well done, actors very committed, the film itself never stepped out of context. It was impeccably directed, and I just want to point out, this is a soft version of reality. Most teenagers don't make it out, and I will be honest it's a good thing the poor girl never made it to Las Vegas, this town is infamous for chewing up girls and spitting them out in the desert somewhere to be forgotten. These critics don't know crap about stories like this because the hardest thing they ever dealt with was being the fat kid in gym class who didn't want to shower in front of peers. Or the worst of there struggles, they are secretly gay, but I guarantee you they have never found themselves as a teen, walking down any dark roads alone, or having to rely on street smarts just to be sure they got to see the sunrise that morning. So if you want to know what real people think, I'm one of the most critical, skeptical people when it comes to films. To be quite honest I hate watching movies these days, and I refuse to ever go to the theater. Nine times out of ten you walk away wondering if you just wiped your ass with $20.00. My last statement, if you like movies that are more realistic, yet has its funny moments, you may want to watch this. If your into superhero films like green lantern or iron man or prefer movies like CatFish, crap only critics like, than you may want to skip it. If you have any trouble believing this, I advise you not to just watch the news, but check out your local coroners missing people or unidentified bodies, the reality is it could of ended a lot worse, as it often does.
Wynn Chloe Moretz is an absolute pleasure to watch. She is highly expressive and - there's no other word - cute. Her smile - so rare in this picture - when she is playing categories is almost heartbreaking. You suddenly glimpse the child. Eton College has produced 19 British Prime Ministers, including the current one, Damian Lewis, Dominic West and Tom Hiddlestone. And Eddie Redmayne. It is very likely the grandest school in the world. You cannot get more aristocratic. Seems however that the sons of the British rich do very good Americans. Redmayne is astonishingly good in this movie - almost wasted. Because it is not a great film - perhaps a little nasty in fact - though thoughtful in its way. Soundtrack was great. Whomsoever was responsible was obviously a Dylan aficionado, with a pretty good knowledge of country. Patsy Kline has an appropriate melancholy to her voice, and Dylan is all Hibbing, Minnesota, pretty darn hick itself as far as I understand. In the end, though, Hick is not cinematic enough. Would do very well on late night TV (which is how I caught it).
