Irishchatter Lately I was watching this documentary movie and I have to say, i was pretty gobsmacked that sexual abuse file cases were stored in a abandoned building which was located in Detroit! It was disgusting on how the law hired such bad cops, who just didn't want to bother going through cases and this was regarding women who came from poor backgrounds. Seriously, poor or not, every person regardless of status should have the right to tell the authorities to say what had happened to them and be able to catch their sex offender if they can! This is like the Catholic Church trying to conceal clergy child sexual abuse cases and think they have every right to tell people on how they should live their lives! However with this documentary film, it points out to old bucks who are only in the police job to get money and not bother working with the clients "issue". It's pure disgraceful and I was glad to see some sort of sexual abuse training happening while watching this documentary. I tell ya, it is well needed in this world but unfortunately I don't hear the likes of it going on somehow. It needs to be introduced regardless, full stop.Great documentary film, very hard to watch but its pretty powerful and brave for the women affected, to speak up for what happened to them. This way, it would be able to help others to know what's going in this world and that they aren't alone!9/10 rating this documentary film deserves!
