Nuekeee The movie is excellent as a functioning thriller that kept me reeled in like a fish on a hook until the end. I simply couldn't stop watching as one seemingly disconnected part of the plot seemed to automatically tie in with the next. Then I realized that I wanted to know more, and find out how the story would eventually end. The only thing I didn't like was that I wish that we would find out more about who the Sergey Crime family was and how why they betrayed Viktor as he was an invaluable asset to them. However for the most part the movie Interview with a Hit-man was a success. It describes a hit-man's life in an objective and clever way that does justice to all the characters and shows that a murderer will never change.
JockyaChan The best part about the film is the realism with which the actor plays Victor the assassin. Most other Hit-man movies that I have watched were excellent in terms of how they emphasized on how dangerous paid killers are as well as brutal. However what most films don't do is show that even a mass murderer has a deep sensitive side no matter how cold. And it also shows how some kids who become hit men in the future begin killing from an early age. Watch the movie Interview with a Hit-man to find out how an ordinary youth turns into the youngest paid killer working for the Sergey Crime family.
Rick Stead Hadn't heard of this movie. Finally got around to watching this after a friend kept going on about it. Almost switched it off when I saw the Kaleidoscope logo come up. I knew why I hadn't heard of it. Kaleidoscope is one of the poorer distributors in the Uk, usually releasing low budget trash badly. All I can say is I have no idea how they got hold of this film. The writing was on the money, the direction very good and it looked and felt authentic. The best films have a way of getting under your skin and this one stayed with me afterwards. Both the Elliot Greene and Luke Goss were perfect. I'm not a massive fan of Goss but he should have got far more recognition for his performance in this. The writer/director uses the very clever device of the has-been director interviewing a hit-man to hold everything together and jumping from past to present and back again. The action sequences are very accomplished and realistic and leave you wanting more and it's never action for actions sake. But it's the performances that make this for me. And of course the twists, the final one which you will never see coming.Great movie, watch it if you can. You won't regret it.
joe blow Typical tough guy too cool for everything hit man character without emotion except when he sees a woman getting beaten like his mother then he supposedly jumps into righteous hero mode. Predictable and formulated with incessant droning music that makes you want to take a bullet yourself just to end the monotony. And enough with the shaky camera, it literally does not stop quivering for a split second during the whole movie. Even reigning hand held twitchy kings like the Bourne flicks take a break from that once in a while during the story. The twist at the end is not even enough to rescue this flick from an hour and a half exercise in dreariness.
