Pumpkin_Man This is an extremely funny movie! Jamie Kennedy is awesome! I always laugh hard at this movie! Kennedy plays Brad "B-Rad G" Gluckman, the rapper-wannabe son of Bill Gluckman is running for the office of Governor of California. He shows up at his dad's campaign and starts rapping. Members from the campaign hire two black actors named Sean and PJ to scare B-Rad into acting like a white boy again. PJ gets his smokin' hot cousin, Shondra to help, but B-Rad is hard to change. B-Rad finds out it's not real, and begins to take matters into his own hands, but when a real gangsta' named Tec holds the actors and B-Rad hostage, Bill Gluckman forgets his campaign and tries to find his son, along with B-Rad's wannabe-gangsta' friends. If you love comedy, Jamie Kennedy, and 'da hood, you'll love MALIBU'S MOST WANTED!!!
ThEAnOrExOrCiSt I thought this might be funny going in, and Taye Diggs got a few laughs out of me, but I will never understand this whole "act black" thing. First off, I am black- I don't act like that. I speak well and I don't do hip hop and I'm not into rap. To shock you further, I'm also in my mid-twenties. However, so many people believe that all black folks are like that, and there are a lot of "posers" out there who try to act that way. It's not "acting black." It's "acting poor." Because that's how poor folks in the ghetto act, black, white, green, whoever. The trailer park folks aren't too far off, the accent's a little different and the lingo is a bit different. But riddle me this: go to the 'hood, and go to the trailer park, and write a list of things you'll see in common that have nothing to do with skin color: i.e. the Lexus outside the shotgun house vs. the Viper outside the trailer. And about the movie...well, it's kinda like hanging with Mary Jane, you lose a few brain cells, and forget the entire experience. King Kong definitely got something on this one.
leighabc123 This is another movie full of stereotypes! A white Eminem Vanilla Ice wannabe is trying to be a rapper. He acts black. What is the definition of acting black? He talks slang and almost sabotaged his dad's political career. Then some black actors who are acting white, (define acting white) Taye Diggs and Anthony Anderson, starts acting black and kidnaps him and takes him to the ghetto. Fly Regina Hall pretends to like the white guy, but sabotages his good time with two other fly black girls. She ends up really liking him in the end. Look for a cameo appearance by Niecy Nash in this movie. There are a lot of stereotypical crazy adventures in this movie.
badtothebono OK, so its not the shiznits. Its just funny. I give it a 10 because: 1. Jim Howell from Michigan can't like it because it failed to be "an examination of the racial issues pervasive in our society". What the @$&*! are you talking bout Jim. They learn you that stuff in film school, Jim? 2. Bo Derek. 3. Kumar. 4. SOme other guy says its only for rappers or J Kennedy fans. Huh? I never heard of JK before & I hate rap/hip-hop/etc. Get real. It is for people who know how to laugh at other people. 5. Its not for people who take themselves soooooooooooooo seriously. You still there Jim? Go give a "10" to some poorly-made film about deep-thoughts. 6. JK was OK, but A Anderson and T Diggs were great. Shondra, who I think is the girl from Scary Movie, was good & so was R Oneill. As for Bo? Oh yeah!
