Movie Review: "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" (2005)Even by now knowing that ten years of real-life marriage could not be sustained, acting couple Angelina Jolie, at age 30 and 12-years-older Brad Pitt deliver under a striking because charms as spectacle-indulging screenplay by Simon Kinberg with Doug Liman directing in the action-thriller, which lives from chemistry of their leads, when skilfully shot and choreographed action scene with gun, hand-to-hand combat and dance embedded in a slight humor-sharing therapy session scene to a fulminate success for producing partner Arnold Milchan and his West-Hollywood-headquartered company "Regency Enterprises" in favor for crowd-pleasing motion picture entertainment throughout.© 2018 Cinemajesty Entertainments LLC

The synopsis reads "a bored married couple" and I m not surprised. If I were them, I d also be bored. As far as I remember, someone fires a gun and someone else fires a gun. Somebody hides behind a wall and fires a gun, and somebody else fires back with a gun. You'd think that with all these guns going off, it would be enough to keep you awake, but the monotonous nature of the movie wins hands down, and you ll probably be asleep by the end.

I don't know why this awful action-comedy film is massively popular. The plot is ridiculous, the action is mediocre and it isn't funny. Why does the film portray Bogotá as a small settlement in a tropical rainforest? It's a very large city, that, because of its very high altitude, isn't hot.

Maybe I'll look stupid for saying this, but I adore this movie. Angelina from time when I couldn't decide if she was better actress or hotter chick and Bred who is one of the best actors in his generation. Angelina went to hell and back these days and Brad is cast into shadows by new generation of even better looking good actors, but for me, this movie remains one of the dearest love stories Hollywood gave us.............................................................
