mrvanin Since we cannot score a zero or negative number, I use a score of one to indicate that the movie is so bad that I can't sit through it. Really terrible movies that I can watch right through score two stars. This compilation made me cringe - even though I was watching it alone! I skipped through it (on Netflix) to see if there was any promising prank to tempt me to watch the rest - and found too much garbage to rescue this waste of time. Utter drivel.
abdalla First let me start off by saying this is the worst movie I have ever seen this sh*tstorm of movie is clearly made by beta garbage that have never actually watched a movie that has even the minimum amount of effort for this I wouldn't even accept this if it was for free on YouTube but the fact that they charge a 7 pound price tag gives me aids. the pranks and reactions are so clearly fake and the actors are the worst I've seen in my life. All 3 of the pranksters in this movie where exposed for fake pranks yet they try to show the YouTube clips during the movie, the director must be autistic. To conclude this wasted my money and my time and killed a few of my brain cells, I'll be suing in a months see you in court fags. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
jake-82632 We know these guys can pull off great pranks on Youtube with just a small budget and one camera. So when I paid to watch this movie, which I assume had a movie sized budget and a large film crew, it was fair to expect something bigger, more spectacular and special. Boy... was I disappointed! This so called movie was all over the place. There was no real structure or story and it was poorly edited. I broke a smile here and there but the pranks where mediocre at best and in places overly sexualised. This definitely isn't a family friendly movie. Yes they had better makeup and costumes, and the locations were different from their usual Youtube pranks, but they just weren't that funny. Some people think the pranks in the movie maybe fake. I don't believe they are but I can see how others might think this. They are just not very well put together pranks, not that original, not shot well and they seemed to have been forced and rushed. Some of the marks/suspects may of been chosen for their eccentricity but I don't think they were in on it.Also unless you follow these three on Youtube you might not get what they are about as the movie doesn't really introduce them or tell their story. I think they missed a real opportunity with this movie to reach out to a new audience outside of Youtube and to show existing fans that they could take it to the next level.Honestly I really didn't think it was worth paying to watch this movie. However I suspect loyal Youtube fans will buy it regardless if the reviews are good or bad. That's probably why they got the green light and funds to make this movie in the first place because they know they will make a profit from the existing fan base of the three Youtubers.Skip this movie and spend 90 minutes rewatching some of their old pranks on Youtube instead, they are more entertaining and free.
pandreas-38179 Let me first start off by saying that I am a long time fan of Roman Atwood (been watching his content since day one and continue to watch every day) who in turn introduced me to Vitaly and Dennis. All three of these guys are very talented and popular in the YouTube world but sadly, their first step into Hollywood was quite a stumble. Being that I follow these three pranksters on YouTube, I had a lot of knowledge about this film prior to seeing it, yet I was curious as to how they were going to incorporate "pranks" into a feature film. Was it going to be a newer version of the Jackass franchise? Was it going to be plot based with some pranks mixed in similar to Sacha Baron Cohen's projects? Or was Roman and the rest of the Natural Born Pranksters going to give us something new and creative? Unfortunately, this ended up being a second rate Jackass-esque movie. There was absolutely no plot whatsoever, the "pranks" just cut from one to another with no rhyme or reason and the editing/production was definitely not even close to the quality which was seen in Jackass. In fact, this movie reminded me a lot of the Tom Green show that was on MTV about 15 years ago. As I sat through the movie, I kept thinking to myself "okay, it's going to get better but here I am; a week later and I am still waiting. I really hate having to write such an honest review because I am a big fan of Roman Atwood and I think he is a very talented person with a creative mind. I just think that the type of comedy and pranks that Roman and Dennis are known for is much different than the R-rated content seen in the pranks of Vitaly. A movie doesn't need to be filled with sex toys, lots of cursing and bodily fluids in order to be funny. Roman and Dennis probably could have created a much better film without Vitaly while keeping a PG-13 rating and attracting the broad range of viewers which they have in their YouTube careers. Lastly, Roman had recently mentioned that a Natural Born Pranksters 2 is on the horizon. Hopefully he and the entire crew learn from the mistakes that were made in this film, dump Vitaly and come back better and stronger the next time around. I sincerely wish Roman the best because he put a lot of time, energy and passion into making this movie. I would also like to wish him a lot of luck with the second project because I know that he is a very talented person who I hope matches up better with someone else on screen in the future!
