marcgilfriends Within 7 minutes, I felt a sudden change of emotion that most hourly movies can't do to me. Without words and in adorable style it speaks of love, effort and destiny. This is such a simple yet wonderful piece of art. The story itself is simple and straightforward and it gives warmth to your heart and won't let go as you smile. Because the color, music and movement contains emotions that would really melt your heart. The story shows hopefulness, frustration, disappointment, excitement, and joy because of its ending. This is a really good short film, cheesy but a must watch film to share to your friends and families.
johnnyx-26266 PAPERMAN is a great example of what you can express in silent cinema. It is a pleasure to see Disney stay connected to their early film roots in silent film making. They pulled off PAPERMAN beautifully. The story is simple and pure. That is what appealed to the audience. If you are older and familiar with silent movies, you may have a different opinion about how this short story was executed. However, share this cartoon with a child who has never seen a silent movie, and watch how their minds open. Children really enjoy silent movies because it still allows for free thought and mental connections.I think that PAPERMAN is a wonderful example of how powerful silent film really is. ENJOY
Luke J This film brings together a new animation style which brings beauty and a certain... "aged" charm to the movie, a soft soundtrack which brings warmth and a story which tugs at the heartstrings yet leaves you feeling better about yourself for watching.Part of its charm is the view of a modern day (possible a couple of decades ago) fairytale, retold in a way that is relatable yet with a bit of Disney magic to give the film a wondrous atmosphere. The mix of sweet and funny moments means its a short film I personally do not tire of and can't help but smile after every viewing. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a bit of a lift after a long day or who simply wants a bit of fun in their day.
k0038546 This film starts from a paper flying to a man. With a wind causing by a train passing, one of the paper a woman is holding fly and hit him. After returning it, another paper which the man is holding flies and hits her face. Since it hits her face, this paper has kiss mark on it. The man can't forget about her. While he is working in his office, he finds her in the building opposite across the road. Then the man tries to make her turn to him so he throws hundreds of planes made by papers. None of them reaches her so the man is getting sad. But with suddenly the paper planes start to fly again and these planes is going to lead this story to a dramatic ending. It's a simple story but makes the viewer happy. The music played in this film made me feel so excited.
