parodgers88 This is one of my favorite movies from the 80s. I love the entire plot. It has adventure and romance. I love Lambert Wilson in his role. He is so sexy. Gosh I just watched it tonight and I still love to look at him in the film. I know the movie was panned by the critics, but for the time period and for now I still think it is a great movie. Brooke Shields looks so beautiful as well. She played the role well. Cannot wait to find it on DVD to add to my collection.

misoni I`ve never seen as many bad actors in a single movie, it seems that they have bought their acting diplomas - if they have one!Not even Brooke's beauty makes this movie tolerable. Unless you are a big fan of her, don't waste your precious time watching it.

Babs-48 I'm a pushover for the Saharan setting, but discovering Lambert Wilson was the best surprise. He made the whole movie. His eyes, voice, stature......just wonderful. I liked the adventure of the movie.......much like the Great American Race.
