Leofwine_draca STEALTH is an incredibly bad Hollywood blockbuster and the worst I can think of of its type. It's an adventure story about a new fighter jet imbued with artificial intelligence that goes rogue after a lightning strike, leaving the human pilots with no option but to attempt to take it down. It sounds workable on paper but in terms of execution this is appalling stuff indeed, a mindless CGI adventure and nothing else. The story points are ludicrous and unbelievable, the characters cardboard-thin and clichéd. The film is nearly all action, action depicted by CGI which must have looked awful on release and looks awful now. You feel like you're watching someone play an old Playstation 2 game, not a film with real-life jets and hardware. There's a trio of heroes: Josh Lucas, wooden beyond belief; Jamie Foxx, awkward and out of place; Jessica Biel, basically treated as a sex object by the director.Outside of the awful effects, there are some hilarious moments in this. The Americans manage to shoot down a couple of Russian fighter jets over Russian airspace as well as pretty much invading North Korean and blowing up their defences and a helicopter at the same time. Apparently there's no comeback after these hostile incursions; no WW3, just gung-ho flag-waving and sentiment. STEALTH really does have to be seen to be believed because as bad films go this is one of the very worst.
LeonLouisRicci "Stealth" is an Awful Movie Starring Josh Lucas, Jamie Foxx, and Jessica Biel, an Iraq War Propaganda Piece released during that Middle East Debacle. The War in Iraq was Raging when this bit of Nonsense made its way into Theatres. It Could be Called Sinful, and it has. But Unlike "Jet Pilot" (1957) this is at Least Entertaining on a Video Game Popcorn Planet where Thinking is Discouraged and Waving the Flag is Encouraged. From the Get-Go the Action Never Stops. It is one Hair-Raising and Mind Numbing Scene after another. There is No Time to Think, and that's a Good Thing if there is any chance to Enjoy this Critically Demolished Movie.Everything Looks "Pretty" as if War is a Postcard to make Us Forget just how Immoral it has a way of becoming in the "Heat" of Battle and in the "Cold" Political Arena. "Mission Accomplished"If You have any Concerns about the Philosophy and Political Mindset of Modern Day War (on terror), it's best to Stay Far Away from this Problematic Picture. But if You are Smart Enough to Recognize what's Going On here and View it in Perspective, as Reprehensible Rot-Gut, that can be Blasted for its Lack of anything Approaching Intellect, the Movie can be Called the Cinematic Equivalent of Fast and Furious Food. The Film must be Forgiven a lot of things to keep from Throwing Up. Like its Dollar Menu Brethren there is No Nutrition here or anything of Substance. It Exists to Fill a Need for many Folks, to be Entertained, and at the Same Time, Pump Up the Citizenry. It Certainly Pumps the Adrenalin and in that regard it is Successful if not Commendable.
Terryfan As a fan of Jessica Biel and action movies I knew from the minute I saw the trailer for Stealth I had to go see it.Yes I know it got some mix feelings about it but this is just one of those films I look past the junk and see the treasure. I love it since I saw it in theaters back in 2005 which still remains one of my favorite movies I saw in theatersStealth main plot centers around three top fighter pilots as they join a project to develop an automated robotic stealth aircraft. The main protagonists are Lt.Ben Gannon played by Josh Lucas, Lt.Kara Wade played by Jessica Biel, Lt.Henry Purcell Played by Jamie Foxx. Under the command of Captain George Cummings played by Sam Shepard. Rob Cohen served as the Director of the film and watching the film his style does make the film interesting like "The Fast and The Furious" and "xXx". What impress me about this film is that the special effects are really cool plus the designs the film has for the jets are what you call a beast as these Planes are really predators. Also the action scenes and battles will have you on the edge of your seat along with feeling tense as you never know what will come next. That's why I enjoy this film. Also the writing in the film is very good along with clever lines along with smart quotes. Yes I know this film wasn't meant to be a movie of the year pick but it is just not one meant for thinking so why not accept it for what it is. Stealth is more than what others give it credit for it. My advice is to just sit back relax and be blown away by this movie it has some of the best effects of any movie and the action scenes will make you feel tense throughoutStealth deserves more love so just try and give it a watch you could be surprised I give Stealth an 10 out of 10
Baleegh Shaw Today I happened to watch the movie "Stealth" which was released in 2005. After watching the movie I must been able to say that in movies you can do anything. The EDI plane was just one fighter plane that wiped out Russian SU-37 aircraft, the best known fighter aircraft of the world, more so it was able to pull out an American Navy's female pilot from North Korea. I must say that there should be a limit to bullshit, but this movie surpasses all the levels of lies and fake story telling. If that one plane can play havoc then why US is maintaining such a large military force, just one plane can do the job. It was too many a kiddish movies which is allowed for teenagers to watch. This movie has had to be a greatest flop of cinema history as it has nothing in it except some bikini scenes and kiddish dog fight of a plane which never existed. The move shows destroying the entire company of North Korean soldiers were unable to catch an injured pilot; they should be ashamed for that. It was quite a waste of time and money both respectively. I gave this movie 3 out of 10.
