jidhun-31383 I watched the 'realistic' Bollywood movie 'The Ghazi Attack', seriously it was an insult to the Indian navy and the people of India (I am also an Indian from Kerala). Indian Navy is supposed to be the hunter of Indian ocean, not a mere prey to a Pakistani submarine entering the Bay of Bengal all the way from Karachi. It is such a non-sense movie. Was it produced by some Pakistanis? Seriously, at many occasions I felt like the film is glorifying the Pakistani submarine and their Captain. Apart from this flaw, comparing with many other Bollywood films, it is an OK film that is why 3 stars are given. I remember a line said by KayKay Menon in the movie, 'emotional ****** fools', that is exactly what I would like to call the makers of this movie. Some suggestions that they could have used to cater better to the Bollywood audience1) Every half an hour, singing the national anthem and shouting slogans (ya, the only way to show patriotism in time of a crisis as if somebody is watching them)2) When the torpedo's missed, there could have been a sweet distribution ceremony and if needed an item dance by the girl in the submarine, anyway she doesn't have much part to play (Oh!! I forgot, it is mandatory for a Bollywood movie to have a heroine right? so, they could come in any form, the item dance was a good choice)3) We could have shown the Indian Navy even more 'pure' that they didn't destroy the Pakistani submarine but the torpedo by Pakistanis itself destroyed them, may be at the end, the hero catching the torpedo and swimming to the Pakistani submarine and destroying it (the director can kill the hero or he survives somehow, that is the freedom of the director), that would have been a perfect ending for the Bollywood movie. Again enough amount of national anthem and slogans in between instead of doing their duty.Pathetic.
Saquib Arshad Qureshi One of the finest movie i have watched. Amazing cinematography. THough i belong to Pakistan, and still this Ghazi Attack story is contradictory, but to be very frank, i appreciate makers of the film, they portray the whole story effectively.I recommend everyone to watch this movie and support the Cinematography. HATS OFF! Pakistan Zindabad!
Hemant Thakur #Ghazi #Attack ...a must watch movie for Indians... Based on Indian Navy Operations... i m sure everyone will love watching this movie which is based on true event... try to go and watch this movie in theater... :) :) <3 everyone should know how our soldiers are risking their life in guarding the borders of our country in land, sea and air.. ..hats off to the director of this movie.. :) :)
Manoj Kumar Vadlamudi Reasons to watch this film: 1. It's an India's first underwater/war-at-sea film. 2. The Ghazi Attack is inspired by true events from the Indo- Pakistani war of 1971.The film is all about the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971 between two submarines INS Karanj (S21) (INDIA) and Ghazi (PAKISTAN). Hats off to Sankalp reddy for making this movie to Hollywood level because the way he elevated the story and screen played was awesome. The first hero of the movie is Kay Kay Menon (Captain), he has taken the movie to the top level with his extraordinary action and he said about success is that "Success will never come to us easily, it comes through so many struggles"Rana Daggupati is a second hero of the film, he has lifted the entire second half with his best performance and emotional frame of mind. Music is a part of every scene to be effective, here Krishna Kumar (K) did that fantastic background music.Last but not the least our Producer Prasad V Potluri (PVP), in spite of having all the talents to make one film like this in front of an audience is not possible without a financial supporter, this credit goes to the PVP.Message from the movie: All the Indians are living safely because of our soldiers are protecting us from enemies at the border. Bottom line: Hats off to all "INDIAN SOLDIERS" and every Indian should watch this movie.Jai Hind.
