iamnessie WOW!!!A bunch of untalented actors got together and shot the worst movie ever. i was only watching this because the whole 'white suburban rich kids starting a gang to be taken seriously' plot outline sounded funny to me but it was extremely boring. This was really bad. Really really bad.Usually in movies you're supposed to care about characters but there aren't any in this movie who deserve it. The main character is stupid and you can tell he doesn't care about being in the movie at all not only by his awful acting but it seems like he can't even take his role seriously. His narration in it was so boring and poorly done that it just gets painful after awhile. Paris Hilton was disgusting and horrible in it. She actually gets slapped up by her boyfriend and that was probably the only enjoyable part in the entire movie. There are police officers in it who are wearing boy scout uniforms for some odd reason (one of them gets killed by one of the "thug ganstaz").Everything about it was extremely amateur; camera work, script, direction, acting, and editing. A lot of scenes didn't make sense and were completely irrelevant to anything that was happening. This was just painful to watch and don't waste your time. Don't pay to rent this disaster. It will just encourage them to make more movies which is not what we need. Someday this may have some novelty value and be so bad it's good, but for now it's just one of the worst films i have ever seen.-15 out of 10.
haquenin Come on, people. This is a comedy and intended as a comedy. It is a series of ever-increasing incongruous events. Just the premise, about a bunch of bored, rich, spoiled high school grads from Beverly Hills who decide to become gangstas should tip you off. Anyone who judges this as a serious movie and was disappointed as a result might have also been disappointed that The Producers and Springtime for Hitler was not a well-done serious dramatic treatment of Adolph Hitler and WWII. Of course Paris Hilton seemed like a stuck-up stoned materialistic airhead b*#ch in this film. That's precisely the role she was playing and the character she portrayed. Everyone in this film was stoned and got further and further stoned as things progressed. The fact that people were shooting each other in the face in broad daylight on the street or at parties and murdering at the slightest whim and then acting as though nothing had happened was wildly funny. The scenes where a groupie of the Beverly Hills gang sleeps with one of them to try to get him to murder her rival cheerleader in high school (with her mother's complete approval) is so over the top funny that you cannot take this seriously and at that point should have had a clue that this is a comedy. This is not the greatest comedy I've ever seen and I would give it a 7 out of 10, but it was INTENDED TO BE FUNNY and has to be judged as a hilarious over-the-top comedy, not as serious drama. This was hilarious and I'd love to see it again.
Lilith Hexus Well, the film has some actors that I've seen in a few other places, I was surprised to see Paris Hilton in this and fairly disturbed by it, she can't act and she's not very attractive. She could have easily been replaced with a less-known actress with a better level of talent, those aren't hard to find compared to her. Anyhow, this isn't about a rant on Paris. The film's storyline is reasonably good, and for the low-budget the camera was put to pretty strong use. The acting was pretty mediocre, but most of these kids were performing in one of their first movies so its understandable. It's a movie that, even if you're not a drug-user or anything like it, you can probably identify with it.This is primarily a low-level drama, and not a comedy. It's got realistic comedic value, just every day jokes and laughs, but nothing out there just to make the audience laugh. This is a good movie to watch if you have nothing better to do, but it's nothing I'd recommend buying or anything.
trickg1 This is quite possibly the worst piece of cinematic trash I have ever had the misfortune to witness. Thank God I didn't actually pay to watch any of it by either renting it or seeing it at the theater. I've seen better acting at high school plays and musicals and the scripting was so bad, it seemed like they were making it up on the spot. I think that the only highlight for me was a scene where Paris Hilton gets slapped, however she quickly ruins any further pleasure with her wooden acting (an insult to wood) and even more about two scenes later when she thinks that it's sexy when she finds out her ex lover killed her current lover. What I want to know is who was the idiot who read the screenplay and decided to dump money into trying to make this train wreck? I was fortunate enough that I didn't further burn out my eyes by watching any more of it - I caught it when I flipped the channel to it and had I not been distracted by some other things, I probably would have watched even less of it than I did. What a waste celluloid.
