lannypetersong The true meaning of Christmas IS this movie!I remember watching it on TV back in 2001 with my little daughter (who is over 25 now). I didn't care for it back then, but ever since the 2010s have started, I've become more accepting towards everything and everyone and began to watch romantic comedy films of my own free will. I'm a new man thanks to this movie. I know it will touch your heart, just like it touched mine 16 years after it's release.Note, that this was made in 2001, so if you only like modern-day movies this is not for you. Believe it or not, 2001 is nearing on being 20 years ago! I know many people don't accept that it is technically the olden days now. I didn't either until last year. Thanks to this wonder of a family film, I've changed my mind though. I used to hate this movie, but I was much younger and much more foolish back in those days.Now go on and experience the magic that is The Sons of Mistletoe!

OllieSuave-007 Touched by an Angel star Roma Downey stars as heiress Helen Radke, who returns to her hometown to sell all of her estranged father's belongings and settle his estate. She also threatens to sell a boy's orphanage, run by Jimmy Adams (George Newbern), during Christmas time.It is interesting seeing Downey, known for her portrayal of the kind angel Monica in Touched by an Angel, play a cold character role, which makes the movie captivating. The story itself is pretty good and heartfelt, as it is captivating seeing how the people try get through with the heiress in saving the orphanage. Seeing how Helen deals with the smart aleck Wylie Armstrong (Scott Terra) is also entertaining.The acting is quite good and the plot pacing is steady. Overall, one of the better holiday TV movies out there.Grade B

If you have the chance to watch it- don't miss it- It's A Must SEE for any fan of Romantic-Comedies!!!George Newbern was so handsome as the overseer of a Boy's Home.... and Roma Downey was pretty with her blonde hair. A perfectly matched couple!Sons of the Mistletoe is the Best 'made for TV' Holiday Program!

Sean Richard McCarthy Nothing special, but a cute little movie for the Christmas season. It's about a Foster Home endangered by the new land lady. It is comical with a touch of drama. -->> AAA, OH YES, ROMANCE!! Yes!, > You will see this as well. This movie is ok, but NOTHING SPECIAL!
