spotboyfilms This is one of those movies that has many strokes of genius in terms of story-construction. It has a couple of twists that you will not see coming. The director has done a great job in constructing this world of this loving and warm family and then deconstructing it as it all starts to come apart. The film has so many layers and it seeps deep into the human-animal's complexity as I have not seen in a very long time. It has the kind of brilliance that Ridley Scott's 'Alien' has in the way that the monster's monstrosity is revealed. For me, as someone who appreciates great writing, this is one of those unforgettable films with great direction, unexpected twists, and great performances. BE WARNED that many of you may not be able to stomach where this film goes. If you like psychological horror, some twisted things, and can appreciate a great story, I highly recommend this masterpiece of a film.

You give a civil platform to cruel.Its easier to catch clicks with shocker than do a good job, if a user got what he wanted he may leave and lives. so better destroying his live. But there are borders - not discovered - results in finding yourself in a minefield

Nany_lahav I had this movie on my watch list for a long time and I thought that if it had a 6 star raring for so long maybe the trailer is bad but the movie will surprise me. well, it was worst the the trailer !! the actress (maybe just beside the father and the woman) was awful. the script is so stupid in so many ways - really, she lives next to them for so many years and never noticed them?Im sorry to tell that I didn't like a thing about this movie! it was so bad in my opinion that its the first time I write a review and I felt like I had to do so in order to save others from spending 90 min from their life, like I did.bottom line - do NOT watch this one !

Lary9 When a deliciously mad Australian country lawyer, with all the appearance of being "normal", captures and attempts to "civilize" a feral member of a violent clan that has roamed the northeast coast for years, much latent, longstanding family dysfunction erupts. Incredulously outrageous mayhem soon ensues. Only Australia could have produced this dark, multi-layered film with so much targeted irony. The title carries a well-deserved 6.1/10.0 on I.M.Db...but the brief synopsis fails to fully describe its twisted content. I found it thoroughly diverting & sometimes grizzly through its 100 minutes. Warning! It's tough at times for those with weaker constitutions.
