fairlesssam This movie has got to be one of the strangest comedy films I have ever watched. It's got so many cringe moments, a bit like Austin Powers. Tim and Eric are two very unattractive, odd men who are making a movie and they mess it up. Then they need money to pay the filmmakers back so they answer an advert to run a shopping mall.It's difficult to explain why this movie is funny because it's pretty horrible, gross and offensive. I just love Time and Eric's mannerisms, the way they walk and how they interact. They are so peculiar that you just can't help watching them and being amused.The phrase -it's so wrong, it's right - fits this movie perfectly.

They definitely seem to be a polarizing act!Some people love them, some people hate them, to each their own. Lovers and haters just need to accept each other. If you love this show, accept that other people may not share our sense of humor. If you hate this show, then don't watch it, and accept that we find this kind of comedy funny. Why is that so hard for some people to accept?In the end most fans seem to like the movie while people who don't like their TV show will never like the movie.

NiteOwl24 Tim and Eric's humor is not for everyone and I totally understand if you don't like their style. However, if you are a fan of their shows, you will like this movie. It is really enjoyable and makes some poignant observations on American culture and media. Will Ferrell, Will Forte and John C. Reilly both have excellent roles in the movie. The movie is not as insane or out-there as their show, most likely due to their attempt to appeal to a wider audience, but it is still in the same spirit. Beware! If you enjoy Big Bang Theory, How I met your mother or other laugh track comedies, do not waste your time with this movie, you will hate it. It definitely takes a certain kind of person with a certain kind of sense of humor to enjoy Tim and Eric's work. If you enjoyed the movie and want to see more, I recommend season 3 of their series. Tom goes to the Mayor is also worth checking out. I miss Tim and Eric, I hope they bring out something new soon.

Seth Landers After finding this movie through Netflix instant queue under the "late night raunchy comedies" section, I was expecting this movie to be decent. To be fair, I never really watched the show, so the movie itself looked okay.There were so many disgusting parts and shockingly absurd scenes, that I kept wondering how they got this movie made in the first place. The jokes flat-out sucked, sure there were a couple moments that I chuckled (like those goofy commercials and the part where Will Ferrell's character keeps shooting Taquito), but it was only because the humor was incredibly moronic.For the most part, I can handle gross-out comedies yet this crossed the line way too far. When it showed the guy's penis getting pierced, I shivered with disgust. The masturbation part where he turns off the light with his hand full of semen wasn't as bad. However, later in the movie, when the guy gets pooped on, while laying in a bathtub, that crossed my level of how uncomfortable I was.The slightest character connection I had was Eric's romantic feelings for the girl, but that was decimated when Tim ended up having sex with her and she eventually got shot by the villains. Also, I still don't get the logic behind Tim kidnapping the kid, claiming it's his "son" and the biological father not actually caring one way or another.I really wonder how confused the crew people were when working on this movie, since half of it was just random jokes. It's not worth watching and I can absolutely guarantee that you will lose a lot of brain cells, after watching this piece of crap...... have fun!
