L C When I was a 13-year-old girl, I watched the pilot movie, "Big Time Audition". I was very impressed because the boys were cute and sounded like they could sing. They were confident and fun. I liked the show for the reasons you would expect -- not for its quality, but because the boys were cute singers.They don't show reruns of the pilot movie very often, but even being 16, I'm still impressed by it. The actors sounded very natural in their line delivery. They all had great chemistry, and the script was fun for kids but real enough to draw in viewers my age. Even though it was extremely unrealistic, there was enough about the pilot, something charming, that would draw in people like me. They found creative and relevant ways to integrate the band's theme song into the plot.The best part about the pilot movie was that there weren't a bunch of wacky sound effects and stupid stunts drawing attention away from the dialog and the plot. If the whole series was like that, it would be far better.Starting with the first actual episode of the series, everything that was charming and real was discarded in favor of wacky sound effects and stupid stunts. Now, every time a character makes a wacky facial expression, horns blare in the background. The same irritating sounds play with similar effects, like a rapid pop rock song playing when a character is running or rushing, a soft rock song when a character has a revelation or a "down to earth" talk with someone, and a guitar lick when James is commenting about his good looks, among many others.Those actors who sounded natural in the pilot now sound forced, extremely exaggerated, and unnatural. The characters scream almost all the time now -- not really at each other, but they just scream their lines spontaneously. Now, the writing is significantly weaker, and the band's latest songs are forced into the plot like puzzle pieces that don't fit. In the first season, it wasn't as bad, but now, it's almost like they want to integrate the EPISODES into the SONGS more than the other way around. It makes the show seem like an advertisement for the band, rather than a show. It gives the whole show a cheap, prosthetic feel.All of these qualities join together to make the show seem like it's prosthetic and forced. These are qualities that plague every episode. They had a nice and decent pilot movie. I don't know why they didn't keep that formula and discarded it for an exaggerated, painfully unrealistic, cringe-worthy, mediocre, and unimpressive television show... but hey, the band is still selling. Why? Because other teenage girls, like me 3 years ago, are still in love with this attractive boy band. Needless to say, I don't watch the show anymore, much less remotely enjoy it.

Ruthy Thomas I'm 15 years old and I truly love the show and the boys themselves. They are always sending out good messages and helping girls feel better about themselves.The show is funny & I love watching it.A lot of people think it's only for kids like 7 years old but it's really for anyone, I know so many teens that are older than me that love this show and the band in real life.Yes the show is a little predictable but almost every show on TV is now.This show is for everyone, it has romance, drama, comedy and much more. If u give them a chance than I'm 95% sure that you'll fall in love with them on screen and off screen.

StrongRex iCarly has unfunny humor and characters varying from having no personality to not being likable at all. Victorious has main characters that are completely unlikable. But at least they both have a little bit of intelligence.This show has no intelligence at all. No real effort is put into it. Every single character is over-the-top immature except for the little girl. The four male leads act like three-year-olds in the way they act, run around, break stuff, yell and scream; they don't even act like regular college boys. In fact, this is all everyone does; scream and yell. Especially that music director; man, I can't stand him. He doesn't act like a real musical director; nothing in this show is realistic at all. No episodes have any real plots; it's all just a bunch of screaming and not much else.The music is the only thing this show has going for it, but I don't even consider it anything special; just generally good. I can't say the same for the rest of the show. It's not good, funny or well thought out. It's stupid, unintelligent, and has absolutely nothing to offer. I cannot understand why so many people like this; then again, people are stupid enough to consider shows just as bad or worse popular, such as other Teen Nick shows, most of the current bad shows on Disney Channel, and the infamous High School Musical.

lukaomenya1 Programmes on TV are becoming worse especially on Disney channel and nick, I'm sixteen and would never waste time watching it. The producers should be ashamed of themselves. Just cause there good looking doesn't mean it will be a good TV show. The actors are so bad my dog can act better than that. The producers seriously need 2 get better actors the story lines are predictable not to mention their voices are horrible i can't believe their a band. This one of the worst boy bands. I can't think of a good thing about this show. If you want my advice don't bother watching barney is more interesting and that says a lot. I would never let my sister watch this show. This shows are rubbish these days especially this show one of the worst shows i've ever seen in my life
