George J. Kirby I was invested and emotionally resonant while watching this beautifully crafted adaptation of the acclaimed manga Cory in the House. This anime emotionally resonated to me on so many levels through its strong characters, beautiful visuals, deep lore and its compelling narrative. This anime establisrd new standards that even the great Hayao Miyazaki will wish he could reach.Cory in the House effectively portrays why anime matters to a whole community of people, outshining the standards set by Cowboy Bebop, Dragonball Z and Naruto. This anime will be a life changing experience for those who want the new profound sense of hope in their lives.
iamtiraboschi To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Cory in the House. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head . There's also Cory's nihilistic outlook, Which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny - they say something deep about LIFE . As a consequence people who dislike Cory in the House truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Cory's existential catchphrase " I'm your man! ," which itself is a cryptic Reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dennis Rinsler's genius wit unfolds itself On their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. As Sir Lilith Pump once said, "Esketit".
ShanePd00 Cory Neo Budokan was Hayao Miyazaki's greatest work which he created with Walt Disney who had a great interest in Japanese culture. Walt and Miyazaki wanted to create an anime unlike any other with life like animation and a story unparalleled by anything which came before or after. The two later released the show under the names Marc Warren and Dennis Rinsler in fear that the two would receive backlash from a public which didn't understand their grand vision. But we did and now Cory Neo Budokan (or Cory in the House if you watch the also amazing English dub) is now regarded as being the greatest work of fiction ever made. The show is about Cory Baxter moving into the white house with his father Victor Baxter. At the start of the show they say it is because Victor is the new official head chef, but even from this moment we see Miyazaki hinting that the twist in the "eternal summer" story arc where it is revealed that Cory is fulfilling of an ancient prophecy which says he will defeat Adolf Stalin Bin Laden who is later revealed to be the Stand of his greatest enemy, Jason Stickler. The show's story is without a doubt the greatest story ever written with every episode playing an important part to the plot. Even episodes which seem like filler such as "Guitar of destiny! Cory gets his grove on!" later play a big role in the "Battle of the bands" arc where Newt uses the guitar to summon Apollo, the Greek god of music, to be a part of their band, DC3 (now renamed to DCG4).The show also has some of the best fight scene ever animated which invoke all of the character's emotions like the incredible final fight between Cory and Jason which can be found here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OA-mYnw3Hc. In this scene we see the conclusion of 12 seasons of build up and it pays off in epic fashion. The show isn't without it's emotional moments either. Like the final episode when Cory must sacrifice himself to stop his sister Raven (from the prequel series "Suvo Raven Shippuden" or depending on your dub "Thats So Raven") from unleashing her physic nova to bring upon the end of democracy by destroying the capital. The animation, music (which can be found here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hFxjeVIHnk) and voice acting all come together to create one of if not the greatest scene in all of entertainment history.Overall. Cory in the House is the most perfect anime ever made and if you disagree then I will personally fight you over the internet.
2 tru3 z0d1ac Starting back in July of 2012 me and my spouse where constantly fighting over the pettiest of things. My husband Richard was a frequent Alcoholic, binging garbage anime's, such as sword art online or attack on titan. I often spent lonely nights crying into my wifu pillow as Richard drunkenly gambled away all we had saved for our children's college tuition on cs-go skins. I asked him to stop, but his bouts of rage where unacceptable and occasionally hit me or the children, I gave him an ultimatum. Leave or fix your life. I had packed all the bags and was ready to move out to my mothers house in Iowa. But, after only a week I saw improvements in his day to day life habits, he stopped drinking, he spent more time with the children and he stopped gambling. After a month he was a new man, clean-shaven and neat dressed. One night I asked what caused this change and he said "Cory in the house", I must admit I was skeptical at first but I soon became hooked on the best show for all time. Cory in the house saved my marriage, we spend sunny days watching the entire show on the platinum premium Blu-ray box set. We also often use Cory as a persona to spice up our s*x life and explore new "ways". I would definitely recommend this to anyone who can appreciate the only anime that I have enjoyed. I have decided to dedicate my self to Cory. It started as hanging large pictures of him all across the house, then we started meeting with other member and showed our children the great savior Cody. We soon started preforming rituals for Cody, like sacrificing the local livestock or heretics who don't accept Cory into their heart. Our group is called the church of the second coming of Cory. We believe that Cory will return in an event called the season of 3 in which Cory will rise and slay all who have doubted his presence in all of our hearts and minds. May Cory enlighten all and may his glorious black light shine upon us, may the beats be ever sick my brethren. Amen!
