Hey you probley like this if you willing to give it a go for what it is. know don't start watching a silly comedy with the hope of the same insight you get out of a f scott Fitzgerald novel and you might have a better grip on expectation then everyone leaving rewieves and might be about to enjoy it for what of is.
Also last man on earth is 1000times more bording with a lot more to work with so yeah that still going.
Also don't really understsnd what people mean by it drops off they just fouces on push the main plot for a couple of episodes. Supernatural dose it all the time and no one crys. Give thing a fair chance!

I am unfamiliar with Carl Tart, but he wrote or co-wrote episodes 2-9. After that, the show changed dramatically. It is no longer funny or quirky. It is just sad and depressing. New characters that add nothing to the show have been seemingly added randomly. They have no apparent skills, they have not been funny, and they seem to do no work. It was a small agency with a small group exploring actual events. Now it is a small agency with a large staff doing nothing. One of the new characters seems to be seriously mentally ill. As to their new boss Merv, get to the point. He is a horrible conventional man in a role that requires anything but. He has to have something on someone to have gotten that job, but I guess this will never be explored. Every episode I hope his tedious tenure will be over. I keep watching hoping things will turn around. Oh bring back Carl Tart!! The basic core cast is wonderful. Perhaps good writing could actually incorporate the new characters. I realize this show was recently cancelled. As it is, I'm not sad. As it was, it is such a loss. I used to so look forward to this show.

I think the show offers to make you have a good time. The episodes are not too long. There is no background story that tries to get you involved in some strange soap-opera like drama. The acting is good, the dialogues and situations don't let me get away from the TV. So I really like it! I don't think this is the kind of show a person who wants to get into a "group" or "cult" TV watchers would like because there are no mysteries or weird stuff that can make you feel part of an elite group of TV viewers of a show. Sorry! It's good TV, but not a substitute for a life. Keep up the goog work guys.

Adam Scott is horribly unfunny. He has no comedy timing with Craig Robinson, no chemistry with anyone else, and he seems to be trying to be the only funny guy on this show. He is annoying instead of funny. Ally Walker, formerly of Profiler, has no clue that she is on a comedy show. Every time she is on screen, she kills any comedy vibe that may have been building up. She is trying to the "straight man," but her acting is grim. She manages to be more depressing than when she was on Profiler. Adeel Akhtar is trying too hard to be the Indian guy from The Big Bang Theory, and failing awfully. Akhtar is not subtle. He is over the top in every scene. His acting is desperate, and not funny. This cast has nobody funny on it except for Craig Robinson. I don't think any of them get what the show is supposed to be about. Maybe the writers do not know what the show is about. It seems to go in different directions every episode. Sometimes it looks like Craig Robinson is going to be the lead, and other times Adam Scott is the lead. When the episodes focus on Adam Scott, they are almost completely unfunny and dreadful.
