Reviews

Jennycrig If you are near or in your early 30's you'll find this show or at least parts of it, amusing. The pop culture references are perfect, if you remember anything about growing up in the 80's. The show can be over the top, however, that's it's charm. It's a none too subtle wink at how ridiculous growing up can feel, especially when you still feel like a 10 year old no matter how old you've become. The 8 episodes in season one should be watched lightly, not taken too seriously, and enjoyed thoroughly. "I Hate My 30's" is the perfect antidote for feelings of dread in your 30's. The cast is well chosen, and the characters themselves feel like someone you might actually already know.
harpot777 I really liked this show to be honest, and not just because Liam Kyle Sullivan. I think the parodies were funny, and I was addicted to the show since the beginning. I honestly have to call this one of my favorite shows, and to the people who think that the acting sucked. To a point, it was supposed to. I'm not sure everyone gets the concept. All in all, I love the show. People need to lighten up and actually watch every episode before posting too harsh of reviews. I didn't like one episode out of the whole season, it seemed a little dry, but maybe that's just what they watched.Anyhow, I seriously recommend this show.=]
provin One of few series today thats worth watching, just like lost, scrubs and the IT crowd Just awesome intelligent jokes. The acting may seam weird at first, but it actually follows the mood of the show and its consistent in all episodes (not like many other shows) Even better is that you can watch it on the vh1 homepage Hope to see more of that in the futureReally don't understand how someone can hate it? not like it can be thinkable if your more into a kind of a goofy humor, but hating it its for the ones that didn't got the jokes
llewxam-labs I think the show is done quite well, and does have its moments. Wriring could be better, but I think the cheezy acting and songs really make for a great show. Also, the show is obviously targeted for the now 30 somethings generation, with references to Mad Max (I thought that was awesome) and Grease, which was also quite amazing. And I think, in a sick sadistic kind of way, that it's good that shows like Arrested Development and Freaks and Geeks get canceled, it cuts them at their highest so that they can never fall and we can never be disappointed in them. As Yoda would say: "Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them, do not. Miss them, do not. Attachment leads to jealousy. The shadow of greed, that is." damn I'm geeky.
