Is so easy hate Molly, she's a hateful fat, alcoholic, consumerist person. In other hand,Billy Gardell is amazing surprise. He's funny and joyful. I hope see him as protagonist in other show. I love his faces and expressions. It's a good show. Not the best, but not the worst. Remember a little bit King of Queens, but the wife Carrie was way better than Molly.

I really really liked this show when it started. It was about two people falling in love, who are happen to be fat, but most of all just your average human beings, with insecurities about life and how to live it. It was great to watch these characters clumsiness and struggles through funny but still somewhat believable situations. I remember watching the ending of the 3rd season (I think it was the 3rd, right before the new Mike & Molly), when Molly told Mike she was pregnant. I couldn't wait for the new season, so before the new season started, I binge watched the whole first 3 seasons, and then came the surprise, at the end Molly's pregnancy bomb was not there - it turned out, it wasn't even aired in the US, it was only in the first Canadian version, which I saw. And then started this whole "new" thing which is exactly the opposite of the earlier seasons. The characters are unbearable and not a slightly bit lovable. I just stopped watching after a few episodes. Came back for a few glimpses, but nah. I wish they would went with the pregnancy and starting a family line, that would have been so great. Seriously can't understand why they choose this path. So the first few seasons are a 8 or maybe even 9 for me, the latter are 1 or 2.

This show is Melissa McCarthy before her movie "spy"In other words it's going to focus on her and Billy Gardell (Mike) weight while trying not to make it the soul issue. And this the show's downfall. Both actors do great when they're apart and just interacting with other people with a character driven plot.Melissa's best moments in EACH episode is when she with Peggy (played by Rondi Reed) her mother-in-law.Then Molly and Mike are in the same room and of course we can only talk about their weight with Melissa over compensating because she takes the word "feisty" and "modern" to mean dominating, verbally abusive and a jerk! Mike's persona also changes around her and goes from a simple but charming man to a tool and nothing but a tool...It's such a shame because when the show is just about the characters it's pleasant, funny and interesting. Why does the chemistry between the two on screen have to be the turd of the show? I prefer the new Melissa over this one.

My parents watch this horrible show so I have been exposed to more episodes than I ever would have liked to be. As I mentioned, the show is terrible. It is nothing but endless sex jokes, clichéd characters and bad acting. I can't believe this show lasted as long as it has, and even though I'm in my early 20's and used to most TV shows and movies relying on crude humor and shock value for views, this one is over the top. For the record I live in Chicago, and I have never met people as disgusting as the characters in this show. That's saying a lot. I mean who discusses their sexual escapades with their families? Ew. The "romantic" plot is dumb and frankly it's embarrassing that people in their forties are so immature, broke, and lost in life. I cannot think of a worse show, steer clear.I urge people to stop watching garbage like this and demand a little more from your entertainment.
