I'll admit this wasn't exactly one of my favorites but I was soon hooked. Nora's a tough character when she shapes up and though I see a lot of people feel for Casilda - let me be obnoxiously honest, her ugliness wouldn't have been so bad if she didn't hate on Nora so much for the dumbest of reasons. In fact besides the main heroine and hero it's Paulina I felt sorry for, she wasn't even a villain - just a simple girl who made one dumb mistake in her life. And well, I didn't find anything funny about that moron Isaura who did a lot of bad stuff and that darn whistling was SO annoying! And I do wish her death was better and that it didn't have to end with a sunset - romantic as it was.

Amarte es mi Pecao is one of the best sop operas ever. Yadhira Carrilo and Sergio Sendel are very great actors. Carrilo is very strong, and her emotional scenes are very well acted. The main villain, Sylvia Pasquel, is one of the most unique actresses in Mexico. She is very comedic, but she is so evil, you just love watching her. Tiare Scanda is a very good actress I had never hear of before, as is Alessandra Rosaldo, and by the final, you really care about all the characters. The finale was also very good, and a great end to Pasquel's character. This is one of my favorite soap operas, I cannot think of any I like more, well, perhaps only La Madrastra.

when I saw the soap opera I thought the title was very catchy and wondered what it was about, then at least three of the actors defined the title the first being Casila , then Leonardo, and then Yadhira. Over time the soap develops into, He loves her, She loves somebody else, and the one the loves him, he rejects, the ending is where it gets interesting when all is lost the good characters find love. and being in love doesn't have to be a sin. Although at the end all that dramatic shooting was too fast for me. The very end is hilarious with an unexpected vengeance as in God punishes that bad villain played by one of the best leading actresses, Silvia Pasquel.

"Amarte es mi Pecado" (Loving you is my Sin) is a truly unique story. It is comparable to "La Otra," also produced by Ernesto Alonso, also directed by Benjamin Cann, also written by Liliana Abud, and also starring Yadhira Carrillo. AEMP has some of the most memorable characters ever. Who can forget about Isaura (Silvia Pasquel),the cruel woman that goes out of her way to get money through her step daughter's, Nora (Yadhira Carrillo), suffering and beauty? She is one of the few funny villains in novelas, characterized by the lipstick on her teeth and her whistling. Who can forget Casilda (Tiare Scanda), the physically and spiritually unappealing woman that envies the attention Nora gets from the handsome Leonardo (Alexis Ayala). Another memorable character was Alejandra, Nora's aunt, who strictly follows the laws of upper class society and makes her niece follow them herself by urging her and teaching her to marry a wealthy man. But at the center of the show is the beautiful love story between Arturo (Sergio Sendel) and Nora and how each of them make mistakes that distance themselves from each other. The first episode itself demands your attention due to the fact it is nonlinear and the movement of the camera as it begins with Nora explaining to a police officer why she shot the despicable Heriberto (Antonio Medellin) after he attempts to rape her. She begins by confessing that before her father died, he had made her promise him to marry a wealthy man. It is for this reason she thinks that loving Arturo, a poor airplane pilot, is a sin.
