danieln-15525 And the whole vibe of the show is of freedom. That's the beautiful side of cartoons. It is well-made, and while I understand that's same humour as the live-action, the result is beautiful. I'm not a child and not that fan of Dan Schnider. But there is this vibe of freedom when you watch that, they have their adventures in the open and the sunny weather. Some of the plot line is creative. This is the real beautiful side of animation. Give it a try.
adrielvargasfuntime ***Before Looking Here, Watch Henry Danger before looking at this review*** ****If you have, then you may read this****This is an average show. This is honestly more worse than Henry Danger. First of all, Captain Man is not a hero, he only cares about himself. He hates Jasper more than he does in Henry Danger. Captain Man doesn't care for the alerts. In Henry Danger, at least he does sometimes. Henry is 65% more likely to do the alerts. He doesn't all than time but he does more than Ray. Jasper is an... okay character. He just wants to have fun, but he *kinda* shows off. Charlotte is a good character. She is always alert of people in-trouble. You can count on her. I don't need to explain anything else. Just go watch it and react.
Spacething7474 This show is good. It helped the network when their schedule was at its worst. Like Dan Schneider's sitcoms, it has good humor. It's animation is a lot like Johnny Test (which is good).
hwy-03446 Before tearing into this show, I have to give credit because this is Dan Schneider's first attempt at animation. But even then, that's not enough to save the show which in my opinion is a literal ripoff of Johnny Test, Teen Titans Go, and possibly Star vs. the Forces of Evil. It's possibly a new low for Nick (although I have seen worse from the network). When I saw that Nickelodeon was bringing back old shows (Hey Arnold, Rocko, and Zim) and making original, creative game shows like Paradise Run and Keep it Spotless, I thought Nickelodeon would be slowly returning to what they were in the 90s and 2000s and approach a 2nd golden age or bronze age. But I was wrong (VERY WRONG).Where do I even begin with this Nicktoon (if I can even call it that as it disrespects the brand name)...1. The animation, OMG, did they really have to use flash animation. They obviously have 27 FREAKING YEARS worth of resources to produce good animation (even if it's by computer) and the team made no effort to actually create fluid, proper animation. Even the animation in Nickelodeon's worst cartoons (like Breadwinners and Fanboy & Chum Chum) manage to be better than this.2. Plot: The plot and structure is pretty much what you would expect in an episode of Henry Danger or The Thundermans except add gross humor and even more unfunny jokes/gags.3. The Characters: Henry/Jace Norman: He's even worse in this 'thing' because he constantly integrates his catchphrase "Feels Good" into every response after he does something good or remarkable (which he barely does). Although Jace Norman is an ok-decent actor, this is not his best performance.Charlotte/Riele Downs: I have mixed thoughts about Charlotte both in this and the sitcom. Although she can be decent for 2/3 of the time, she doesn't serve any purpose. You can remove her or kill her off and the show will function just fine.Jasper/Sean Fox: Annoying, boring, and pretty much the same as in the sitcom.Piper/Ella Anderson: I wanted to talk about Piper the most. I think that both in the sitcom and cartoon Ella Anderson has definitely improved her acting both in this show and the sitcom as Piper. While in Seasons 1-2 she started out as one of the show's brattiest and most annoying characters, by Season 4 she became more mature, kind, more sarcastic (in a good way), and just overall a pretty good character. I think she and Charlotte might be the only 2 good characters in the show as of now and I have a lot more respect for Ella Anderson now than during Season 1 of Henry Danger.Captain Man/Cooper Barnes (THE WORST, congrats Piper you've been dethroned): Where to begin: obnoxious, bratty, immature, rude, and just a terrible character. He behaves like a crybaby and acts like a smart aleck to Henry and even Charlotte. Like Henry, he is barely funny even in the first two episodes and I can't even go without him for 5 minutes. Can I even call him "guardian of Swellview" cuz he doesn't look like a guardian to me (especially afer Charlotte killed that popcorn monster saved the kids on the school bus but didn't get any credit from him). He is one of the worst sitcom characters I've ever seen. I'd rather watch Johnny Test for 5 to 7 straight hours rather than this guy for 10 minutes (at least that show was tolerable and it was created by the same guy behind Ned's Declassified).4. And finally, this show just insults the Nicktoons brand that has been the memory of millions since 1991 (like School of Rock 2016 insults the Music Industry). Fewer quality Nicktoons air now and new ones that are actually great don't even get a chance. Instead, Nick's president Cyma Zarghami focuses more on sitcoms and has been since the network's decline in 2008 (I have a theory to why but it's complex: something to do with girl power and the fact that sitcoms are cheaper to make). Nickelodeon and Dan Schneider need to know that just because you turn a sitcom into a cartoon doesn't mean it's a Nicktoon. A Nicktoon is considered to be an ORIGINAL animated show that's just creative, timeless, and not like any other cartoon. For superheroes, you have examples like Danny Phantom (BRING IT BACK), My Life as a Teenage Robot, The Crimson Chin from Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Neutron (technically), and even SpongeBob (Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy). For this reason, I'm still calling this 'thing' a sitcom.Dan Schneider, you're a great man and you have made incredible shows for the past 20+ years but I think the time has come for you to step down. You're running out of ideas and Nickelodeon has turned you into a Cash Cow. I just hope that the Invader Zim movie can inspire you to never go down that path again.
