Synopsis

The Brothers García is an American sitcom that premiered in 2000 on Nickelodeon and ended in 2004. It was among the first projects of Sí TV, an effort to produce programming featuring Latino characters, however being aimed at a diverse audience. The series was billed as the first English-language sitcom to have an all Latino cast and creative team. The series aired on the programming block Nick on CBS from September 18, 2004 to September 17, 2005, where the series ended its initial run. Reruns on The N started on April 7, 2008, and ended in May 23, 2008. Similarities to the series could be made to the style of The Wonder Years and Everybody Hates Chris, with an older version of the main character narrating each episode in a witty and sarcastic manner.

marebare97 Its a very interesting show to bad it got canceled i say it should be brought back but the thing that threw me off a bit is that how come it says George is the youngest but meanwhile he is the second oldest that needs to be dealt with and i do not understand how Larry and Lorena are twins it does it's cool and all but it just takes away all of the interest i believe Larry should be the youngest period not Larry and Lorena twins and Larry the youngest even though he already is but to make him not have a twin and just be plain and simple youngest other than that the show is very interesting about a Hispanic American family and always work as a team to fix their misfortunes.

grey_silver2001 This show is the bomb. I am glad that there is a show with a all foreign cast. The Brothers Garcia is a great show that shows Mexican Americans not living in trailers, but a nice house in Upper Alamo (suburbs of San Antonio). This also is a great show if you want to learn some Spainish and learn about the Hispanic culture. Two thumbs up!

Sammy-28 I first saw this show a few months ago and it is very good. I like the little tune at the end but theres hardly any episodes. just like Tucker and Two of a kind but it is funny.

CentralPerky I saw the promos for the show "The Brothers Garcia." Since it was set in my hometown, I decided I would give it a chance. The plots on the show are just plain stupid. I have never heard anyone I know EVER talk about it because it is just so boring! I would be ashamed if I was an actor on that show. And then, I wonder "why, oh, why did they have to set the show here?!?". I feel that it will make people less likely to visit the beautiful city I live in. This show also almost makes me wish I wasn't a (half)hispanic San Antonio resident! So, I warn you; DO NOT WATCH THIS SHOW!!!!!!!
