Synopsis

Life’s good for deliveryman Doug Heffernan, until his newly widowed father-in-law, Arthur, moves in with him and his wife Carrie. Doug is no longer the king of his domain, and instead of having a big screen television in his recently renovated basement, he now has a crazy old man.

studioAT The 90's/early 00's were a good time for American comedy, full of classics. Because of that this show doesn't really get the plaudits it deserves.I'm not saying it's perfect, I think many an episode is saved by Kevin James' personality, rather than good writing, but there are many things to like about this traditional, warm, sitcom. It's easy to see why Kevin James became a star based on this, because it is his character at the centre, and the source of much of the comedy. I can't say that the supporting characters are half as strong, though Jerry Stiller (father of Ben, of course) always has his moments. It's a decent sitcom, that always seems to be on. Have a watch of it sometime, you may find it to be a hidden gem.
DPDIA King of Queens is a American TV show that lasted from 1998 through 2007. It is mainly focused around Doug and Carrie,-(Kevin James; Leah Remini) a couple from Queens, New York. Who welcome Doug's Father-In Law Arthur to stay in their basement. Unaware of the wild and surprising responsibilities that are soon to follow. I rate it so highly because of the humor. I am a fan of comedy, especially a comedy including Kevin James. Between Doug's character who is your average ordinary guy with a loving heart, and Carrie who is your complete sassy loving wife. It is truly a television show made for couples with a funny bone. 9/10 Stars.
Plotman This is one of my favorite comedies. Its story lines are very easy to relate to. Oddly, it's one of the very few successful comedies that I can think of that centers on a married couple with no kids. The childish nature of Doug and more serious nature of Carrie works well together. Of course, the father-in-law living with them adds another dynamic. Its comedy centers on many real life situations and doesn't feel forced. It doesn't get the credit that many of the other classics receive, but I nonetheless can watch this show over and over, which is the sign of a good show.
Armand it is far to be my favorite. but it is nice series, far by great ambitions but soft and comfortable. it has a all ingredients to be one of series to seduce a large public, it represents that kind of soft comedy who use in inspired manner the ordinaries clichés to create the sensation than the universe of characters is a familiar one.and that detail represents a great virtue. the cast is the best and the situations are pieces from many family's crisis, conflicts and great , happy solutions. the character types are the key - the immature husband, the wise wife, her strange, almost creepy father and the friends . so, a family series. nice, almost lovely.
