My wife and I love the series a lot but there is far to many F bombs. Ever since episode 3 of season one they have been dropin F bombs like a hot rock, also God d### it... Why is this necessary? It is so pointless, they sware like sailors. If it wasn't for these two flaws the series would be 10 stars out of 10. Phenomenally deep writing, exceptional twists, fun stuff. Please, please, please...stop all the cussing it takes from this masterpiece that is TRAVELERS not adds to its quality.

It encompasses all of the great things you enjoy watching in a science fiction series. A little bit of the movie Trancers; where you have little kids bringing in messages from the 21st Century; this part is hilarious. After the message is delivered the child says "Where am I? What happened? How did I get here?" So, we have a little of the body snatchers, x-files (the main character is an FBI agent and the leader of the team), current events, star trek-like gadgets; where a person has the communicator embedded in the side of their neck; they touch it lightly to activate and begin talking. What I like is that you don't have everyone jumping into bed with everyone else; as you see in most tv shows these days; what most of those shows focus on are the emotions before, during and after graphically making out; wastes time and originality. This one has a lot of class and I enjoy the story-telling/acting/adventure/travel/imagination/dialogue.There are 5 main characters: the leader, historian/computer expert, medic (your basic doctor), security officer, and the teenager (he has over 100-years of experience; reasons things out and keeps the team grounded).

Travelers had me hooked from the first episode. It has a whole host of great characters, each portrayed by first class actors.The storyline is believable and doesn't contain too many holes. Unlike many similar programs the quality continues into the second series. Good direction and cinematography round this up to first class.If you like sci-fi this is one of the best things to watch on Netflix.
