Having spent the last part of the 90's in the UK including some dabbling in the drug culture, well, I really relate to this show and think it is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. It's not"stoner" comedy because they don't just get stoned. In fact a lot of it is straight with the interaction of the "waster" characters just doing and saying stupid waster things. In other words, it's mint. Kind of a modern day cheech and chong set in a small British village with four friends and Sean Bean as his GOT character playing Morpheus' subconscious. Obviously innit! Childish? maybe. Funny? I certainly think so. Please make another season.

I absolutely love crass and intelligent British humor. If you are a fan of Spaced, Peep Show, The Mighty Boosh, The IT Crowd, and Fresh Meat you will love Wasted. Though similar with these other brilliant comedies it stands on its own as a very unique and original series. The cast is amazing!! and I quickly fell in love with every one of them even "The Holy Man" LOL!!

Had read a few bits about this and wasn't sure I'd like it but I took the plunge and it had me creasing up all the time. Writing really funny. Directed and edited really well. Loved all the cast. Especially Sean Bean and Morpheus. Morpheus steals the show because you kind of feel for him . thought the acting was great, slightly heightened but genuine and funny. It's like Spaced crossed with inbetweeners. Favourite episode was the Berryman and the last EP. All the game of thrones references were superb. Hopefully they get to do another series. It definitely deserves another run. Hope Sean Bean comes back too. Top marks to all involved

Just watched the first two episodes. Only watched the second to 'give it a chance'. A friend recommended this was a great comedy and that using Sean Bean was 'genius'. I will say using Sean Bean is 'wasted' is far more appropriate. Pun intended. Could not believe that the Daily Telegraph Culture section gave it 4/5 stars. But then their review title 'Sean Bean steals the show as he parodies his Game of Thrones ghost' is essentially a euphemism or polite way of saying 'this is garbage, Sean Bean makes it just tolerable'. It felt like it was ripping off Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz/Simon Pegg in general. My Wife then read some reviews out that said exactly the same. The humour considering they are '20 somethings' would have been juvenile to me when I was 20. K.M.N. and 50 minutes of my life wasted spring to mind (plus the extra 5 minutes to write this review). Avoid like the plague as there are funny ways to spend an hour.
