santhosh-10290 The movie was not so good. BGM and Songs in the movie was good. The Animation also good. But the actors in animation was not good. It has a good story but if the animation was not there the movie could be so good.

amogh-cooldude65 This movie rides a mixture action,drama,emotion,love,thrills,twist and turns,war and of-course the rajni bang.. with his unique style and his ever remembering dialogs...Definitely watchable for all the thalaivaa fans out there u would enjoy it as hell... This is the second try of the (performance capturing Technology) by the Indian Tamil cinemas after maattran.... but it didn't go well as expected.... I would say animation flaws were their... and tat rajni in real effect was not present..... However,the plot of the film was well written to catch the audience mood.... Story is great... A must watch movie in theaters i would recommend..so guys enjoy the experience of the movie... DON'T MISS IT..!!

subbuparam On the whole for the movie, I would only give 7/10, but I rated it 9/10 only because it was extremely thoughtful and bold to make a movie of this kind. A lot of the characters in the movie are wasted. More than a storyline as such, the movie is a celebration of the great Kochadaiyaan Ranadhiran and the principles he lived by and the legacy he left behind. I don't think anybody else could have handled this role to perfection, the way Rajnikant has handled it. Songs are decent, the special effects, the coverage of detail, the magnificence of the sets, the awesome music of ARR, the voice of SPB, and many more features makes the movie a MUST WATCH! Soundarya Ashwin has done an incredible job. Overall I would say, DO NOT MISS the movie! Yes there are quite a few technical flaws, but I think we should still appreciate the efforts. The dialogues as any Rajni movie are awesome. Was great to see the king of comedy Nagesh being included, I am sure a lot of work would have gone behind it. All is not rosy some critical thoughts: * Maybe they could have reduced the gory scenes couple of notches * Many characters have been wasted who possibly might be utilized in Rana i guess. * the movie lacked the usual Rajni humor * Maybe Jackie Shroff and Aadhi should have been replaced by Suman (who did a great job in Sivaji) or Prabhu and maybe Shaam/Jeeva/Jayam Ravi respectively. Both the former's expressions are not the best of features. When you are portraying a Pandyan King, you would want to use a Tamil star cast as your expressions are very important. Looking forward to Rana!

binnyraj I never expected the movie to have good graphics (Technically speaking). But it was a surprise and a Adventurous ride. I took my son along and to my surprise after watching the movie he was in tears ...! The Movie "Kochadaiiyaan" was under SO much of criticism and struggle that people who were speaking Bad about the movie..Now are wanting to see the movie but their Ego is holding them back. Nevermind those people will regret for not watching it in theater.Movie - ***** Music and BG score- ***** Animation Quality-*** Screen play - ***** There was a great effort taken by PentaMedia about 12 years Back...He burnt his fingers first and Thanks to that team of guys who actually helped to grow this Amazing Animation Industry. Its Now The Lady who has taken this Massive effort , People just sit back without moving their - and comment on every move that a Celebrities family does...But in-spite of all that rubbish This Team is a Winner.*** RAJNI WILL REMAIN SUPER STAR FOREVER ***
