paulclaassen Incredible production! Vibrant, colorful and utterly amazing. What starts off as a silly-ish comedy soon turns to a spectacular, dramatic musical with stunning visuals, photography and Phantom of the Opera-like scenes - just much better!!
adharshedapal First of all there is many haters for this movie But i loved the movie It have good songs and have an excellent story bi Farah khan. The movie shows the pain and returns of Love.Om Prakash Makheeja the early 70's junior loves the super star and dream girl Shanti Priya,After that he realizes the truth and he so only get murdered. The climax was good and we will love it.End credits was also a different one.The movies plot was written by Farah khan which we early seen as the choreographer. But in the movie we see her as a director.Movie is such as a fantasy story. But she can make it as a awesome colorful, musical, romantic movie every one will love to watch this movie
coiffuremixte 'Om Shanti Om' is, simply, one of the best films ever made.'Singing in the Rain' is the closest reference cinematically and thematically, both films are about the inside of the movie business Hollywood and Bollywood respectively. Baz Lurhman was going for the same kind of thing with 'Moulin Rouge' and - despite hyper-active trickery and bombast - managed to express romance, art and music pretty well, though not as well as is done here.'Om Shanti Om' manages to combine drama, high emotion, nostalgia, fantasy, romance and self-referential humor to perfection. Simply told, this is a film about fans. What it is to love an idol on the big screen and the unbreakable fantasy of stepping up onto the big screen. This is also a metaphor for love and the film is also, suitably, wildly romantic.Anyone who truly loves cinema intelligently will adore this film. Shah Rukh Khan is on his own today, with perhaps Denzel Washington, as a leading man with infinite appeal and effortless charm, intelligence, humor and presence; a movie star at home with the all-time greats.Deepika Padukone is both a stunning beauty and a complete actress, incredibly, managing to match her brilliant co-star in comedic and dramatic range.Farah Khan is a director of extraordinary technical and artistic skill and the vision she exerts in Om Shanti Om is breath-taking.Leave your preconceptions about Bollywood aside and embrace a true classic.
krishnashivakumar This movie was really good truly one of the best movies ever.I enjoyed this movie a lot from beginning to end.Every thing about this movie was simply fab be it the acting, music, plot. This movie has a really cool storyline and liked the way how the reincarnation was portrayed.Another thing that i liked about this was that it was very colorful movie and also the cinematography was really good.I also loved the spoofs that were made of the old 50s,60s,70s movies it was good. The music and songs were amazing the Deewangee Deewangee song which had lots of celebrities was simply sensational so was the Dard E Disco. The concept of this movie seemed very refreshing and new.The acting was extrordinary.Shah Rukh has proved himself as powerhouse performer by giving a brilliant performance in both the roles.Arjun Rampal also gave a brilliant performance and i am surprised that Vivek Oberoi was the first choice for his role.Deepika acted well in the first half but barely had nothing to do in the second half but she really stole the climax scene.Shreyas Talpade also gave a very good performance in his role also. The climax for me was shocking and also surprising.Iam also a bit shocked that many people have disliked this movie because i believe these kinda movies should be watched for entertainment purposes not for serious purposes.Skipping all that i recommend watching this movie
