Strazdamonas This movie is psychic. Its not meant to scare you, or amaze with dialogs. Yet it touches you from the depths. Even in the very beginning, they use white screen, that unconsciously attracts your attention. The music, or should i say, sound vibration, were were well put together on the occasions. Even for a psychic movie this was very creepy. It could fit in Horror genre too. Whole movie goes from elements, and they even use flashes to, again, contact your subconscious. It did was overacted, and the camera angles were far from perfect, but the general idea of movie, and the way they put it in does affect you. Im sorry to confess, but this is one of the rare movies that will go deep into my memory. The feelings it left were strong. The ending is left open, once again, letting the watcher to interpretate, therefore creating an ending for his possibility of thinking. This movie is not for everyone. Brain-dead action lovers should skip it, you wont find action here. The ones who do like psychology movies may watch it. Thats the movie for the small, but strong, circle of people, and I'm happy to get into it.8/10. It looses 2 points for the proportions mentioned above.
froose I watched this movie to completion because I sat in utter disbelief at how awful it was... like watching an accident in slow motion. The acting, editing, sound editing, special effects... EVERYTHING was terrible. Every performance was underwhelming and for the most part seemed improvised. The absolute worst part, though, was the sound. There was clearly no post voice-over work done with the actors, so it relied on sound that was captured by the initial shoot. This left it mismatched with the sound effects/score which was WAY louder that the dialog forcing me to continually adjust the sound between conversation and 'action' sequences.I won't even get into how inane the story/writing was... there is really no point in discussing it seeing that the movie misses the mark on every other aspect of the production.Definitely skip this waste of time.
Geminate Sight is a real snoozer, the kind of movie to fall asleep to. I am inclined to believe that someone on YouTube made this movie, yeah, it's that bad. There is a complete lack of acting ability, this crew couldn't fake an emotion if life depended on it. Continuity is also a major problem. The scenes are rather simple and straightforward, so how can they screw that up? Well they did in very obvious ways. If the movie wasn't so bad it might be interesting to count all the mistakes by watching again, but Hell would have to freeze over before I could bear that.It isn't even enough of a bad movie to actually have something to say about it. So I leave you here, warning you to stay away. If you do watch, remember that bell that goes off in your head during the first two minutes of the film that tells you this is going to suck - because you are dead right.Sight, dead from end to end and almost everyone does die.
chrichtonsworld "Sight" has a very interesting (although not very original) premise. And at first it seems to be about this premise. Jeffrey seems to be able to see ghosts. And of course nobody believes him. When he discovers that this woman Dana also seems to have this sight he is relieved and happy that there is another person like him. Only this encounter has more consequences than he hoped for. At first it is real thrilling to see what is happening to Jeffrey and why it is happening. But soon you will realize that there is not much to the story and that having the sight only plays a very small role in the events that are presented to us. Throughout this movie there are some hints that Jeffrey isn't a complete victim. This fact gets so blown out of proportion that you do expect something wild to happen at the end. The conclusion of "Sight" is disappointing to say the least. Don't be fooled by the title and the cover. It promises a lot. But fails to fulfill that promise.
