traderlu I saw this film last year at a film festival in Livermore CA and I would like to show it to my grandchildren (with proper guidance about the fight scenes). How do I acquire a copy or a download? I brought my husband to see it since he has a non-commercial pilot's license. We very seldom go to the theater and he loved the film. I hope that others would be able to enjoy this adventure flick. There really are people out there that will support a film without graphic sex. Everyone can remember a time in their youth that they unwittingly ended up in a pickle. This is a pretty good film for youth, especially boys. If anyone knows if this film is going to be picked up in the future, let me know.

adi_colegu I can't believe how much this kind of movie impressed me. They don't make this kind of movies these days...right from the start till the very end it's all full-throttle action...and the thing that gets you is this : you don't expect much of it when you see the title and info, thinking "yeaahhh...another dumbass kids movie"...and though it has a few aspects that defy a realistic movie, but man, it becomes more and more engaging by the minute and keeps you focused with its breathtaking scenes and intensity...I mean, damn...this is a well-built movie people, good acting, good plot, strong moral values...and it's all done by simple means and lines, not like the majority of the movies you see now with great actors, boring scenarios and pathetic lines. I saw almost all the movies in the top 250 and much more, and I'm telling you, this one definitely belongs to the top. If you want the best true friendship based adventure movie of the moment, forget about the "Indy and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" category, which by the way is a disgrace to its kind, and give this one a go....satisfaction guaranteed ;)

shannonlee-2 I really thought this movie was great. I took my grandparents to it as it was released to the cinemas. I am not sure if it has been released publicly or just because it was filmed where I presently live. It cracks me up that with all the phenomenal scenery - it was attributed to Arizona. (It was actually filmed in Southern Utah(Hurricane) - I went to the school they attended - its been torn down since) I was fascinated by the fact I had never HEARD of this movie.It was outstanding. Action packed - thrilling - touching - and yet realistic. It was awesome to see the reaction of children in the theater as well - they seem to feel along with the boys! THis was perfect for all ages - young to old - and impressive from start to finish. This may have been one of the best movies I have seen all year!

americandreamcinema Flyboys is so well written that you are instantly drawn into the story and you never leave! The acting is exceptional, the sound mix and scoring is amazing. The cinematography is unbelievable! Can't imagine anyone not liking this film as it has something for everyone.. action, drama, excitement, comedy, romance, sadness.. Though it's not "child like" it is for the whole family. The story line is complex enough to keep your interest without adding unfinished ends that go nowhere. You won't see any "convenient" fixes like other movies when one "stumbles" on a clue to move the plot along. They also don't "reveal" the story though dialogue. When the world sees Flyboys it will surely become a classic. A must see!
