Synopsis

Three months have passed since a viral outbreak wiped out 99.9% of the world's population, turning its victims into flesh-eating living dead. In the UK, a surviving band of soldiers and civilians have taken refuge at a rural military barracks. Life in this new world is tough and brutal, but hope appears when a high level communication is received from a military base on the coast, telling of sanctuary elsewhere in Europe... But just as salvation appears to be in reach, the base suffers an overwhelming defeat at the hands of the living dead! The surviving handful of troops and civilians must now make their way to the coast to uncover the truth behind the message. Their perilous journey takes them across a now treacherous, death-ravaged landscape, where the living dead are vast in number and wandering bandits impose their own malicious sense of law and order. What follows is a journey into hell and a desperate battle against all odds for the very survival of the human race

bbickley13-921-58664 This kind of sucks because Zombie movies are usually a good genre. I don't think I saw the first one, but I can only assume it must have been decent if they decided to make a sequel. Then again, I've seen movies that suck but still got a second installment. It was a interesting story about a new society that is a lawless England, were a few civilians construct a new army in order to defend themselves. When a message that a rescue boat is coming in 2 days reaches them, the team risk traveling across lawless land to get to it. the big problem is that the authority of the military is not liked as they are blamed for how bad the Zombie apocalypse got, so anyone wearing that uniform will not be welcomed. Form what was said in the bonus features the original film predates Cloverfield and Paranormal Activity, both of which are excellent found footage films. I hope the first Zombie Diaries is that good, cause this one an'it. It's bad ones like these that really screw up the genre for me. It's a slow zombie film whose characters are too underdeveloped for my taste. That's what a zombie flick for me is about, getting to know the type of people who can survive a Zombie Apocalypse, but these people I did not want to know.Once again. I don't think I've see the first, but hopefully it's good enough to take a look at, but skip this one.
Tomas Babicki Alright, let me start off by saying I have considered everything I've ever watched, and this is the worst film I've ever had the unfortunate chance to watch. I couldn't even make it to the end, we just skipped through it (as if it wasn't predictable). THIS FILM HAS NO REDEEMING QUALITIES. It's blatant attempt to be as anti racist as possible, the first scene is ruined by confusing race mixing, although it could happen, it's not exactly the most common British family. I really can't put my anger into words, but I will bring up the worst scene of the film. There's a scene... in a barn... where a woman is raped... FOR NO REASON. It contributes nothing to the films story/plot. All it does is use an unattractive woman's body as an attraction. Even in Straw Dogs the rape was somewhat relevant, and it kind of redeems itself by being a half decent flick, but this... this is an insult to film. The writer and directors should be ashamed that they have done nothing but add yet another blemish to the film industry rather than contribute to it. I'm 14, and I assume I would be included in the target audience, but this just p***ed me off. If you take the zombies out of the film, there would still be as much bad acting and irrelevant story telling (and horrific camera work) that it did include. George Romero's sub genre is truly defecated on in this pile of feces. The only thing I can say now is; ANYONE INVOLVED IN THE MAKING AND/OR PRODUCTION OF THIS FILM, NEVER MAKE A FILM AGAIN AND RE-EVALUATE YOUR LIFE.
suite92 Set in the UK after some contrived zombie apocalypse. Reporter Leeann follows some British soldiers as they try to survive in the hostile and ever changing situation. They hope to go to Hope's Point on the coast and then to Netherlands. Supposedly there are enough normal humans there to have a viable stronghold. What could possibly go wrong?Besides the zombies, the failure of peacekeeping immediately launches a growth industry in banditry. Since zombies have nothing to offer, the bandits are only after normals less well-armed than themselves. The boat to Rotterdam is leaving at a fixed time on a fixed date. They lose their truck on the first night, so it's forced march through hostile territory.Fire fights, zombie fights, attempted rapes, and slow progress follow. The team is down to four fairly soon. They lose a member, then regain one they thought was lost. Still, things are not going well, and their march to the coast does not look possible. The 'final solution' is revealed. Will the rescue come before the military burns down the UK?-----Scores------Cinematography: 0/10 The observed aspect ratio of 1.33, big disappointment. IMDb lists this film as having an aspect of 2.35, but there is no way that this is true. The picture looks like VHS from the 1980s done on bad equipment. Most of the movie is in 'found film' mode, which is a huge minus.Sound: 3/10 Bad even for Blair Witch style poorness. The gunfire sounds are ridiculous.Acting: 4/10 Better than expected.Screenplay: 3/10 There is a narrative, which tells a story of sorts, with plenty of flashbacks. What are the flashbacks for? Watch the whole thing to find out, but it's not worth knowing. The flashbacks just make the film worse. The main story could have been done in much less time. As it is, the film alternates between stretches of complete boredom and short bursts of running or fighting with extremely bad camera work.

What follows is a journey into hell and a desperate battle against all odds for the very survival of the human race, and those two from Holland at the end.....The first movie wasn't very good, it made its money because it had a really good DVD cover, so, one could imagine how bad I thought this was going to be.And to be fair, it's as good as the first, but in my mind, my expectations were lowered that much, I enjoyed it just a little bit more. The acting is far from good, and the only one who made an impact on me was the girl who has a cinema named after her in London, because she was easy on the eye.The rest of the cast look solemn toward the camera and every now and again run into to some very depressed looking Zombies. My favourite scene though in the whole movie though was when the group wasted copious amounts of ammo on the slowest zombies in the world, when they could have easily strolled though the lot of them. The film has a little post modern ironic twist at the end, but I past caring when the fake sound effects of fighter jets took over the speakers.Worth watching, but you'll be looking at your watch a few times.
