I happened to stumble upon this on Netflix and gave it a try since I love the cast...and animals ;) So cute and refreshing, no baggage, just light fun with amazing performances from Steve and Justin (Shameless guys). Kate sings a little, always a treat. Sean is typical Sean (RIP Bob), and then animal aspect/portrayal is not perfect but sweet. All over good streaming flick.

We really enjoyed seeing this movie at one of the previews in Berkeley. My college aged kids saw it later at a film festival and really liked it. I can't wait to see it again. It's family friendly and has a great heart. Like others have said, it was much better than we expected. Not all movies hold your attention and are truly funny. Original, quirky, and well acted. Everyone loves the cat!I'm going to buy it on iTunes but it would be nice to get it on DVD to give to someone specific who I know will appreciate it.

My wife and saw Unleashed at the recent Napa Valley Film Festival. It was a delight to watch. The humor was extremely witty and unique. The plot was a surprise as the description was a little vague but we were hungry for a comedy after all the serious themes of the other films. This was the relief we needed! The plot was clever, the pet characters were hysterical. The movie moved quickly and the plot was not predictable. I think this will be a surprise hit when it is broadly distributed. All pet owners will enjoy the great takes the "animals" bring to their human form. Justin Chatwin and Steve Howley were stand outs! Justin brought a funny seriousness to his role while Steve emerged as a young Will Ferrell. Kate Micucci delivers a great quirky character with a good heart that's been deeply hurt. Her wish for a great "man" is sincere and arrives with big twists and turns. The director poked great fun at our cultish celebrity culture. This is a great date or family movie. Truly fun for all ages.

I will pay to see this movie multiple times. This was a laugh out loud movie and the acting was perfect! My favorite was Diego who played a human cat spot on. Loved watching him. The movie was well written. Was able to connect with every character. The movie was funny and heartwarming, which is difficult to pull off and yet they did just that. Just writing this review I am giggling over the funny portrayal of Sam and Diego. Always love seeing Sean, brilliant actor. It is hard to go wrong with an animal film. I can't wait for the movie to be released so that I can take my 89 year old mother to see it. Please help get this movie distributed. I t needs to be shared with the general public and not just seen by the Festival people.
