The revenge storyline is tired and old, alot to predictable even as it winds down. Either way, it's still worth your time to watch. Wish I had better things to say about it, but it is what it is. Watch for yourself and then you can decide. Bon Appetit

cshuck-55731 I have never gone through the effort of writing review and this is my first. However i am very passionate about films and Vendetta (2013) is generally an awful film! the quality of acting throughout is appalling. I usually quite like Danny Dyer and think he is actually very funny in his appearances on TV shows but there were many points in this film when the cheesiness and over the top dramatic scenes and the inability to act them led me to re-evaluate the possibility that the film was actually intended as a spoof comedy. many of the smaller parts were awfully portrayed. For example the part of Jimmy's friend that gets him a gun. His inability to make me believe anything he was trying to act was laughable. equally the special effects were truly dismal. the scene where jimmy breaks into the flat building and gets into a firefight with the drug dealers was unlike anything i have ever seen before; the gun shots were so cartoon like and didn't even slightly relate to the action on screen, again the acting was over the top and poor and the effects of the rounds hitting people and the room were so unrealistic i literally laughed and re-winded it and showed someone else. Although it is awful, this film is so awful that i couldn't stop watching it. Although i have arguably ripped this film apart, it is watchable and enjoyable for its comical value. However if you are intending to watch this film as an good quality action movie or anything other than a spoof then i would suggest watching something else instead.

epiceffectss Yeah Danny boy you pulled out a showstoppin performance on this one. I would give you a ten for this film because of your performance but have given you an eight cause I know you got more to give us. You kick some serious butt in this film , pure jet lee moves mixed with cockney attitude. I think if they put you head to head with statham you could take him. So the film , quality , Dyer takes on some council estate dropouts and kills them one by one with gruesome techniques he has learnt from the war in Iraq. No one messes with Danny Dyer , no one.You still da man Dyer ... You still da man Danny.

kosmasp Obviously the story seems and is pretty thin. The revenge theme has been done before and it's more than understandable if many won't like this (some even for reasons such as Danny Dyer). But if you can try to enjoy this there are a few thing here that are nicely done. One of them being the fact, this is not binding itself to any conventional list. Something that can obviously also be seen as a negative straying away from the formula, but can also be seen as a bit of fun (see first revenge "victim"), if you let it.Also keep in mind there is another one coming out. So the end is not as closing and some things in the movie make more sense. But those things seem a bit out of touch with the rest of the movie. As single movie it's tough to decide what the thinking behind some things was. Still I liked the fact that it's trying to be different
