flashkickmedia Engaging from beginning to end, with great cast and a compelling narrative. It's been sometime since I saw a really good British Indie flick and this was a much welcomed changed from the usual fare.
hobipod This film, from the acting to the directing, is a very well done and great film. Director Dom Lenoir not only allows the actors time to enhance their characters, he also allows the actors the opportunity to make their characters their own. The scenery/beautiful setting is amazing and gives the film a feel that is not usually captured on even "studio" films. The rolling hils, the gritty feel and even the sky enhances the story and allows the audience to feel they are in the film.Winter Ridge is a well made thriller that has enough twists and turns to keep the audience guessing and wanting them to return to this world that Dom Lenoir created. Well done and highly recommended.
andromedagalaxy23 I really enjoyed this film. It was directed very well, nice pace, the cinematography was wonderful and the acting was good too. Dom Lenoir and his team are ones to watch out for!
sparkparker I was lucky enough to see Winter Ridge at the Hollywood Florida Film Festival. The cinematography is breathtaking, and the story is original and well-told. I appreciated the very believable depiction of a small-ish sized town in which not everyone knows one another. I very much enjoyed the unique story line of the detective and his wife who was in the hospital, and I was intrigued by the progression of the conversations between the detective and the wife's nurse, which was a really lovely touch that gives one hope for brighter days to come for our protagonist. I am eagerly awaiting the film's availability to the general public, because I want to share it with my parents. I know they will enjoy it as much as I did.
