Usha Was randomly watching Hindi movies of the 90s when I came across this. My hopes were not too high, but the movie was surprisingly very good. Unlike the characters popular then the hero and the heroine turn out to be surprisingly smart, level headed and extremely likable. The movie gets even better when Anupam Kher arranges for their elopement and expects a grand romance. The chemistry between the lead is terrific and Raveena never looked better. I'm surprised the movie did not do well, and more importantly its not played regularly on TV and is little heard of. Definitely a good watch

basheer447 Zamana Dewana is a 1995 movie, which failed at box office due to the bad script & over acting of Anupam Kher where as the presence of Jeetndra & Shatrughan Sinha even not attracted to the audience, the aim of the movie is to en cash the 2 actors fame from Hit movie Khudgarz & adding Shah Rukh Khan, Anupam Kher is not worth to give him the more role in front of Jeetendra & Shatrughan. The same formula story used of Khudgarz & Saudagar two friends becomes enemy & misunderstanding, in my opinion Anupam Kher role must be minimised & in the Climax Shah Rukh Khan role to be shorten S.R.K. alone fighting not digested he couldn't attract in fight sequence.more role & some fight sequence must be given to Jeetndra & Shatrughan because the story demanded , Jeetendra heading the entire cast & the entire story around him & in the climax there is no role for Jeetendra, it is not the justification of the script writer that's why the movie flop, Shah Rukh Khan & Raveena acting wise is O.K. Anupam Kher overacting & cross dressing & dancing is wasted & boredom. Shatrughan Sinha has given his best effort, Jeetendra justifies his role & given his best as usual, 1st song is good, Even the Director Ramesh Sippy Sholay fame couldn't save the film, The movie is not worth to watch.

Liakot Ali Directed by Ramesh Sippy, Top Director of films like Sholay, Shaan and Shakti. The movie Stars one of the best actors in Bollywood of the decade Shahrukh Khan. It stars Raveena Tandon, who is quite pretty and their was not much competition. Apart from Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla, Raveena was next as the best. It brings back the successfully pairing of Jeetendra and Shatru from classic film Khudgarz again. It had a clever trailer that made the film seem like a sure Super hit once it will release. After all this plusses the outcome was minus, a big zero. The movie has such a bad script, its so unrealistic that it bores you to death. The performance of all actors were not so great, they all seemed bored. This is a terrible awful movie that does NOT entertain at all. If you want to see good films, you can check my other reviews.

nitap I enjoyed this movie along with the cast. It had the right amount of comedy, action and romance. It does contain the "old school" type of aspects to the story but I find it fun to watch now since they rarely make movies like this anymore and I grew up watching them! Shah Rukh and Raveena had good chemistry, the songs were pleasant and the action scenes were plenty. I recommend this movie especially if you are a SRK fan or a old fan of Jitu and Shotgun respectively. Anupam Kher is also very funny in this movie. This movie revolves around the 2 stars Shatrughan Sighna and Jitendra being rivals who were once like brothers. The story unfolds to tell us what went on between them. Shah Rukh and Raveena play the children of each of them who are made to fall in love with one another in order to patch up the differences. At least that is the goal that Anupam shoots for and whether he succeeds or fails is the big question! It is a fun watch. Well acted.
