RoswellGirl13-1 I love this show. Anything supernatural is normally something I will watch. Vampires, werewolves, ghosts, witches, hybrids, and anything related is my favorite type of show/movie. I wish this had more seasons. The first season is amazing, season 2 is a little less so, but then season's 3 and 4 really bring it back. Only the beginning is similar to the UK version so don't let that stop you. Normally I prefer the UK or original version of any show, but this one had me hooked real quick. It's funny, real, intense, scary, and lovable. The characters are so different and relatable.i just finished the whole thing and was very sad to see it end. I'm just glad the right people ended up together. It deserves a 10 rating I think, give it a chance.
kenankenny I love it ............... I really love it Only reason I stop watching is Sally ....I am so sorry.............That girl is kill the perfect show.I was still watching with hate to Sally. Because show is so nice. When her brother jump in the show to I sadly stop watching it........It would be so much nicer without that person ...... ..Thank you all... God bless to you all ....I am from London UK.Take Care ..Kenny Gilman
Gary Lloyd The US version of Being Human shares the characters. There is a vampire, a werewolf and ghost. The beginning episodes supposedly tell the same story. But that's where the commonalities end.The UK version is less slick. It's not Hollywood, and to me it seems to me less polished. The American version is smoother. Some things are explained better. In the American version we find out more "rules", such as why the ghost can and cannot be seen, or when and how the ghost can move things, interact with the real world. But the UK charm is gone. For instance, George, the werewolf, is an OCD Jewish nerd. He is clumsy, also very vulnerable, innocent. At first I wondered why and how he was cast in the part, and then I came to like him. He is a decent "bloke". The US version of the same character has none of the endearing qualities of George. On the other hand, the US version seems more focused, better organized.Again, slicker.I would suggest that people interested in either version explore the other, and pretend that they were both developed at the same time, but in parallel.I'm still making up my mind.
BloodFueledCadaver Only a short review.Bad ending for Aidan. Somebody in his position would be going nowhere. That's what the beauty of vampirism is supposed to be in my opinion: If a vampire is reckless and dies a true death, then they're done. The fact that he got to live for a small amount of time due to draining energy from a soul should not mean he gets to sit on a cloud and play a harp. Just bad writing in the hope of getting all watchers to smile about how great everything turned out in the end. Abhorrent. As for Josh and Nora, their ending was utterly predictable and I haven't anything more to say about them.Still, the show up until the end of the third series was good. Shame they had to ruin the whole thing. I feel they could have done something very good with the final series. Something that has always annoyed me about the show though, is the excessive use of music. My overall rating of the series is a 6.6. Not bad, but wasted potential.(I posted this review on another website as well, although this one has edits.)
