As a member of a sorority at an SEC in 2017 I can attest to this show being eerily accurate. Yes, it may be exaggerated for comedic reasons, however, if you take that for what it is and realize that Greek life looks just like this to an observer. Some of the things that we do are pretty amusing. All that said I really love this show! It is one of the best shows ABC Family (Freeform) has produced. It's not an intense thriller or mystery but I honestly couldn't stop watching. The characters are so great and although not an Emmy winner it's just overall an enjoyable show.

I just finished watching all 4 seasons of Greek for the... what is it now? The 10th time? Maybe more? It usually hits me every 15 or 16 months... like, I get this insane craving and then I binge on every episode from beginning till end.As a radical feminist, a lot of things make me cringe but it's the ONE show where I'm willing to overlook those things... I still laugh at every single joke ("The Anker? Where does that name come from?" "Well, I come from a long line of seamen..." LOLOLOL And... "There's a reason we don't try, Spitter! Because when we try... SNAKES DIE!" LOLOLOLOL...oh my god. LOL.) and I cry every time Rebecca and Casey share a moment, or when Cappie gives Casey her valentine present... or like... the last episode during which I literally bawl my eyes out...If you've ever been to college, with or without a Greek system... this show is for you. It will make you laugh, love, cry, and relive those glory years with all the drama, and the friendships, and the relationships, and the mistakes, and the angst... and every incredible life lesson that came with it. It's a wonderful thing. I don't know what I'd do without my yearly dose of Greek.Greek is my safe-space. My security blanket. My all-time favorite show that has become even more important to me than Buffy the Vampire Slayer (and that is saying something.)So, I heard a reunion movie was becoming a reality? YES, PLEASE!There is no such thing as too much Greek!

THIS IS THE BEST SHOW OF ALL TIME. Greek has moments filled not only with hilarity, but also with drama and action. Cappie and Casey are probably the cutest, most deeply connected fictional couple ever created on this Earth: Chuck and Blair seem like mere lust compared to the never ending love between these two. There are some periods where they can just gaze at each other; it's completely indescribable. Never have I met someone who regretted watching Greek, all the viewers become completely hooked within watching a few minutes of the pilot. This show has left me crying at times, silently weeping as tears trickle down my face. However, more often I find myself laughing so hard at some of Cappie and Dale's jokes that I have to pause the show and take a breather. WATCH THE FIRST FEW EPISODES; YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!

I was surprised to enjoy this show as much as I have. I remember watching an episode once about 4 years ago and thought it was pretty good but never caught another episode and then I stumbled upon it 2 months ago on Netflix and decided to see it all the way through.Greek is not just good writing for an ABC FAMILY show, it is actually good writing for any show. The characters are believable, the actors playing the characters work, and the stories are involving. Sure, it's not LOST or Grey's Anatomy, and the situations are much smaller, and like sitcoms of yesterday, there is a lesson to be learned at the end of every episode though the show plays more like a serial. What surprised me most about this show though is how well the characters themselves were written and how well they interacted with each other. The audience can truly feel like their growing up with the college kids of CRU. And this is not another high school/college drama of hook-ups and out of control relationships. The relationships in this show feel much more real. And there is a rooting interest for these relationships and friendships to move forward. The Series Finale does leave you wanting to know more of what happens after college for these kids and sure would hope ABC FAMILY is working on a reunion movie of sort because it would be nice the future of these kids. All said, this is a show I would recommend. I'm 32 yet I enjoyed this series and I think if you give it a try, you might get hooked as well.
