lilcutieulife I'm really sad that there is no more Instant star. The show has inspired me to be a better person I wish there was more of it. I watch the 4 seasons in two days. First 2 on day the last to the next I'm so hooked on the show I really want to know what happens to everyone Does Jude and Tommy get together Did Tommy go after her Did Jimmy company go big what new songs did Jude come up with does she meet someone in London Does Jude turn back to get Tommy Do the people like Jude's bacement song. I really think it would be smart to get the cast back and move more seasons. I think the show can impair teenagers young adults shoot impair anyone to chance their dreams and believe in themselves.

kdmom I was 37 when I found this show, so it is not just for teenagers! The music is incredible, I have tons of the songs from the series on my ipod and it adds so much credibility to the story line that the soundtrack is so good. But beyond the music, the characters and acting are great and the dialog is wonderful and truly believable. The story lines capture your attention and hold it. The love stories woven throughout are some of the best I've ever seen! As a music lover, I loved the behind the scenes look at the music business, but to me, above all else, this is one amazing love story(not to mention a cast of beautiful people to watch)!! I bought the whole series on DVD. Be prepared to cry your eyes out, laugh out loud, scream at the TV and sing along.

Lynn I've read a few comments on this board from people who think this show is unrealistic and has too much sexual content. I've got only one question: What show are YOU watching?? In an age of highly unrealistic, contrived, overly-sexed "reality" shows, Instant Star is a breath of fresh air. As much as I love Degrassi: The Next Generation, I love this show even more, as the drama in the show is done for a reason. Not just the usual "It's a teen show, let's throw in every teen stereotype possible" drabble, but each situation has a purpose. Jude Harrison is struggling to to make a name for herself amid all the craziness that comes with the music business, and with being a teen-ager, dealing with all the challenges that come with life and love. MU As far as the sex...what sex? Jude doesn't even get to make out with anyone on the show. Sure, there's some kissing between the teen characters, but that's as far as it goes. The "worst" scenes happen between the adults on the show, and even those are tame in comparison to what's on T.V. today. I've seen racier commercials. Whoever thinks there's too much sex on this show must've sat on their remote control & switched to BET Uncut or MTV After Hours by mistake. I'm 32, and the proud parent of an 8-year-old, and I've no problem at all letting my son watch this show. It's an over-all portrait of a young girl struggling to hold her own in a world she's not quite ready for, and the challenges she faces trying to find her own way and stay true to herself. A parent could do MUCH worse letting their child watch something else on Nog. Like, for instance, the horrible commercials for that new Jessie Mc Carthy show. Those commercials have more smut in them than the entire 2 seasons of Instant Star put together.

chadmichealmurray this show is so smart and full of dreams and life's unexpected turns its full of love and hope its a heart felt story that in time will take you under its wing and provide the natural ways of dreaming with pride if you like music this is perfect Jude Harrison has just finished her record and now she knows its harder staying in the music world than living it i love this story just because its cute and full of laughter ,pride and hope and loss of hope if you don't like music than its ready to burst with love and friendships and sister fight back. best friends will cry, boyfriend will suffer, and girls will find out who they are, mothers will watch, and sisters will fight ,producers will say no but to which sister and after he does it does he realize he made a mistake, and will best friend reach there braking point and see love for them selves in each other. watch this show it will fill your soul with the best dreams possible
