It's election day.There are three candidates,Melvin,Toddler and Mike.Louie is Mike's campaign manager.But,he doesn't know what to do now.So he asks his his parents for help.While he is lookinf for help,Andy is bowling with his friends.He tells Louie that he isn't loser because Andersons often lose,he tells him that he's a winner.Mike's idea is that they mustn't eat lima beans for lunch in cafeteria,while Toodler's idea is that reces must be longer.Anyway,Melvin wins so neither Toodler gets anything,neither Mike.

EP3 Military Reunion Sep 20, 1997

It's Military Reunion,and teacher of history wants from kids to write their report about thair parents when they were in war.Louie is so happy,beacuse dad will be so proud of him when he tells him all the story about the war.When he tells him,Louie writes a lot of notebooks about Andy in war.When he reads it at school,everybody is impressed,but Melvin proves that's impossible.So,Louie actually finds out that that story isn't correct.For the finale,Military Reunion is opened,but the fire starts to burn on the ship,and Andy saves the ship.Other military men recognize him and Louie finds out the real story about his father.

Louie and his father attend a football game between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers.

EP5 The Undergraduate Oct 11, 1997

Louie's teacher is sick,so new teacher arrives,Mrs.Robertson.She is very pretty and every boy falls in love with her.To get her for himself,Louie starts to read books like Romeo and Juliet.Now he knows everything about that and Mrs.Robertson starts to like him very much.But when Andy finds about that,he goes to the principal to tell her she must fire the new teacher.But he actually finds out that she also knows much about wars.So,he helps her.and she is now hired at the Military Academy.

While shopping, Louie ends up stealing candy, so he tries to get rid of it during Halloween.

The Anderson family decides to go to the Sniffer land.But it is very far.On their way,they were in danger,they had a lot of fun.They traveled by train,but it broke,then they travel by plane,by bus,by ballon...But the most exciting part was when Louie fell in the water and snake almost bite him!When they manage to Sniffer land,it was closed.But that doesn't matter,because Louie actually had the most exciting vacation of all kids in the town.

Louie and Mike create a spaceship which causes Andy to be declared ambassador of the Earth.

Louie must play the prince for the school performance about Sleeping Beauty. Meanwhile, Andy replaces his boss. Louie gets his first kiss.

It's time for family picture,so Anderson family decides so.They will take a family picture,well,the only problem is: Louie and Tommy don't want to participate,they don't want to take family picture.

Louie wants to have a dog much to Andy's chagrin. Louie takes a dog that has been trained to be a guide for the blind.

Louie feels he's good at basketball and Andy tries to be in support him. Aura decides to eat healthy food.

Ora gets very sick and no one can help her around the house because she always does the most hard jobs at home.So,Louie must help her around the house.But if he does that,he will have no time to get a present for his mother because it's Mother's day.

bfried5 Why does Louie's older brother appear, but never has any lines? (in other words, why do we only see his younger brother and occasionally his older sister? Is Glenn Glenn a pet name, or is his last name really Glenn? How does Andy Anderson know all of the heroes of WWII, including Ike? (I know this is explained in the episodes). Where does Louie live? Is it in Wisconsin or Minnesota (where Louie is really from) What does Andy do for a living? Does he work with Jim Anderson of Father Knows Best fame, and Ward Cleaver? (What did they do--I think Jim Anderson sold insurance). What happens to the deer that the Anderson family adopts? Does he eventually end up as spaghetti sauce, barbecued deer ribs, and venison bologna?Just some thoughts Bruce

MovieAddict2016 This television show created and voiced by Louie Anderson (ex-host of "Family Fortune") is actually quite funny. The animation isn't the best but it is entertaining and has a good number of jokes that are equally funny for adults; like "The Simpsons," you'll find yourself laughing at the jokes no one else in the room is.This is autobiographical to some degree; it is actually about Louie as a young child only it seems to be set in the '90s instead of earlier. Louie's father is the best character and always has the best lines and most embarrassing situations befall him.Overall this isn't a great animated show but for being a FOX kids program, you could do a lot, lot worse.

Op_Prime Why? Because this shoe comes from a time when Fox Kids didn't suck so much. Life with Louie is about comic Louie Anderson as a kid. The characters were great, particularly Andy Anderson (Louie's dad). Every episode was filled with many jokes and first class humor. If you think back to your own childhood, you can really relate to several episodes. Life with Louie was one of the best Saturday morning shows ever. If you can ever track it down, watch it.

pologuy i love it!!!!! this was a great cartoon... very very very funny, it was non stop laughter. it was a depiction of a boy's life named louie, which captures the innocence and humor of childhood. many of louie's thoughts and dilemmas are very similiar to ones i have went through in my life. and this cartoon tranforms the ordinary into funny. i loved it!!! it was one of the few very good saturday morning cartoons still on...a great cartoon!!!!
