LuckyLin04 Although I had high hopes for this show and was excited about it airing; I am now officially over it. First off, Vanessa Marcil quit on the third show and as CW stated, there is no show without her. Although Donna Mills was willing to put her reputation on the line and back it, even after she was told that there would be no show without Vanessa, the other three spoiled little nobodies would not let her work with HER CONTACTS and attempt to make it happen. Every show has to have an Executive Producer to take the lead and pitch the show and present a familiar face, if Vanessa was not going to do it, Donna was the most qualified to move the project forward. No one I know even remembers or even knows for that matter who those three other people are; other than their own best fans. Donna has years of experience in cultivating contacts and building up her fan base. When the other three nobodies showed up at that meeting demanding their due, they got it, Donna left and took the only hope they had of ever acting again. She is complete justified in stating that they were totally ungrateful. The show is about bitching and fighting, constant constant fighting, like a bunch of hormonal teenagers, which is exactly why Vanessa left! With no one in charge, they are simply adding lines when they want, acting like spoiled pampered stars. So, do yourself a favor, go babysit a class of first graders, you will enjoy that more than watching this show... I am so disappointed that pride, and people thinking they were more important then they actually are, ruined this promising show....
Beau Del Donna Mills playing someone who has a small child at her age??? Really? She is a beautiful woman who is obviously vain. The role could have easily been a grandmother raising her grandchild. Are we suppose to believe that she conceived a child at the ripe age of 67 (that's me being kind about her actual age)? The acting is beyond bad almost as if they are reading from cue cards. I feel sad for the entire cast to have been this desperate to be a part of this project. If we are to believe, as the show expects us to, the cast are all now friends. Be honest! Would anyone be a friend with a person like the character Donna Mills is playing? She is suppose to be playing herself. That means Donna Mills is a bad person, a bad friend, a woman clearly in denial of her age and her beauty post God knows how many plastic surgery procedures, someone on a power trip over a project we the audience are suppose to believe is a big deal though in reality is extremely badly written and poorly acted. I have never felt so impelled to write a review for anything before this but I am hoping my writing this may spare someone else from wasting there time watching this. I also read all the other posts and love that people took the time to write their opinions and questions. Thank you for reading mine too 😀
