Reviews

mtran408 I don't write imdb reviews....but 3 episodes in, with the pilot being a a terrible modern day make over, but it was a necessity for the rest of the show. These guys deserve a chance. What's Rush Hour? An LAPD detective teaming up with a Hong Kong detective, it's NOT about Tucker and Chan. I am 3 episodes in, and liking the show more and more. Its actually about a trio, not a duo! Carter's cousin is around ALL the time, helping solve cases, and even chasing bad guys!Lighten up, stop being a negative nancy and comparing this show to the movies. You'll enjoy it A LOT more.
Parker Lewis Rush Hour deserved to be a contender, especially with Lethal Weapon being successful as a TV series. If the Kardashians can be on our screens for who knows how long, then why not Rush Hour? It deserved a second season, and shame on the powers-that-be for not giving Rush Hour room to grow."Freakin' Australians!! Do you know they take all our movie roles? Russell Crowe, Chris Hemsworth." Classic life from James Carter (Justin Hires) in the 7th episode of Rush Hour. This is the first of many ethnic mis-references from James, as Russell Crowe is a New Zealander, not Australian. Also in this episode James makes Japanese references to his Chinese partner Jonathan Lee (played by Jon Foo),and Jonathan politely correctly corrects him, although Jonathan failed to recognize Russell is from New Zealand. Australians, New Zealanders...to some they all look alike I guess.
cselders My husband and I are watching Rush Hour TV series for the first time and I have to say Carter and Lee's character we are not feeling it. It appears Carter's character is trying too hard to be funny and he is not, Lee's character needs work or someone else should play his role, in the fighting sense of this episode Lee is fighting a big black guy and he is getting his butt kicked without any effort of fighting back, now the Lee I know from the Ruch Hour movies whom every Lee fought he did a lot of fancy foot work, flips, karate chops and more, he was not going down without putting up a great fight. This show have the potential to be good if the company makes a lot of changes.
Bladebrown22 If you can get past the fact that it's not Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, then you would love this show . I know many people can't let this go and may be turned off, it's pretty much a continuation of the Popular Franchise of the same name . It does not disappoint you get action, and Drama it's very well written . Justin hires does a good job as Detective Carter ,he could have easily been the Little brother of the Original. John Foo is Excellent as Detective Lee with all his Seriousness and fish out of water character. If you want a Cop TV show that has a well balance of action and comedy then this is for you.
