Stevieboy666 When Malcolm's girlfriend Kisha moves in with him strange things start to happen, mainly around the bedroom. Obvious parody of films such as Paranormal Activity. The cast is likable - the gay psychic in particular is a hoot - but most of the gags are about sex or the toilet and this wears a bit thin. Overall there are a few good laughs to be found and the movie moves at a good pace but at the same time I won't be paying this house another visit.
The Couchpotatoes I had no clue what I was going to watch other than the title of the movie. I thought it was going to be a horror movie but as soon as I saw Marlon Wayans' face I knew it was going to be a comedy. I'm not a big fan of Marlon Wayans so I was expecting a lame movie. But to be honest I found myself laughing quite a lot. Sure there are lame parts in this movie but the funny parts are really worth watching. It's a parody of Paranormal Activity and The Exorcist combined. I know a lot of people are going to hate this movie but there will be also a lot of people that will like it. Don't watch it to see a nice story because it's a parody, they just make fun of horror movies. To me the best parts were the ones with Cedric the Entertainer in it. So if you want to chill out and have a couple good laughs A Haunted House will do the job.
Geeky Randy Wayans notices unusual occurrences after he welcomes girlfriend Atkins to move in, with their experiences being documented through security video and a hand-held camera. Includes a fair share of jokes that both land and miss. Surprisingly insensitive at times, but this one's not for those who can't take a joke anyway. It's frustrating that Wayans feels the need to succumb to loud, childish reactions when he's proved himself quite capable of delivering clever comedy. Unlike many parodies, which usually have several targets, this outing focuses mainly on PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, which ends up limiting the range of mocking the "found footage" genre. Presented to the MPAA in two versions, but both ended up with an R-rating.★★½ (out of four)
AlanWelat I really liked the movie and I totally had some crazy laughs with my pals. You need to understand Marlon Wayans comedy, I'v watch all his movies and I like them all. They are some funny scenes example when they are in the room and the lights goes off and it was Nick Swardson who did it just so he could grab his ass and so on. Nick Swardson is one funny guy too, when he gets the gay/homosexual acting person he really doest a great job and its so funny to watch (Reno 911!: Miami. Funny movie to with him)
